  1. i stuck a Gotoh 201 on my old MIM P bass & had no problem getting a pretty low action,no shims req'

  3. just get in there & record them,you'll be fine. when we recorded our first CD we laid down 12 tracks on day one,added some vocals & mixed it on day too,all done while consuming loads of beer & having a rite laugh.

  5. i really liked your black jazz,it played very nice indeed & as mentioned above the scratch plate is a tad ugly but hey for £200 it's a bloody bargain.
  6. check out the Roland cube,i had mine at the Harrogate bass bash yesterday & most people who played though it were very impressed with the tone & amount of bottom it chucks out.
  7. i've got Dimazzio ultra jazz pups in my jazz & they sound fab' imho.

  10. i can confirm that this is a cracking bass,'cos i bought it new & pimped it myself ,it's the best MIM P bass i've ever played.
  11. my Jazz has a pair of Dimazzio ultra jazz pups fitted & it sounds ace,like a jazz just more & a hell of a lot punchier. i'd strongly recommend them.
  12. 13 is the norm' i think. at lease that's what all my P's had.
