1.
I've had word from andy at wizard recently that some lucky chap bought all his stock / specs etc and expects this new fella to start up making pickups in April! Keep your eyes peeled!
Result! Looking forward to the new "Gandalf" pickups!
 2. Under-rated by whom? Maybe "less-well-known" would be a better descriptor...
 3. I've got one of them...
 4. Now definitely on hold pending trade
 5.
Oh go on then..... Is it any good for metal?
6.
Larger! AWESOME!
Not larger than a Vintage, I hasten to add! Does Alex make anything larger than a Vintage?
 7.
GL with your sale.
Likewise!
 8.
not something vintage by any chance? that would be a shame
Actually..... No! Think something larger.... And I think it will suit me better too.
 9. Tentatively on hold pending a possible (Barefaced!) trade. Mods, please don't lock the thread yet - will update when I am sure what is happening!
 10.
A 4 or 5 string bass with some serious thump-with money my way even better. 34" scale only Dark or strong colours preferred Must be light-medium weight. Trades? Something like a Sandberg VM, Precision Deluxe, top of the range Ibanez SR, G&L Stingray, Yammy....
Any interest in my lovely medium-weight Marcus Miller Jazz?
 11. Lovely! If you offered shipping you would open up your bass to a much bigger audience... Just an idea
 12. A beautiful, beautiful bass! But 14lbs?! Crikey.... Still - any interest in trades? I have a lovely CIJ Marcus Miller Jazz (I see from your sig that you like Jazz basses!).
 13.
Hmmm, if someone has one of those trial cabs (or non-trial! ) near Edinburgh I'd love to try one.
Drop a PM to Wateroftyne http://basschat.co.uk/user/56-wateroftyne/ In fact, I might be heading up to Edinburgh this weekend, so I could even drop it off for you! You'd need to be able to get it back to WoT though - assuming he even still has it...
 14. How much do you want for it?
 15.
You never know, the markets so slow for spectors ATM you may get the cash before I get a sale
Ain't that the truth! Gorgeous basses, but you just can't give them away just now! Jazz basses are selling like hot cakes (well, except mine...). Anyway, have a bump!
 16.
They are pretty rare and awesome
I think this may be my ideal cab... but I just can't get the bloomin' cash together!!
 17.
Thanks to you, I now need two
Just stop it -you're not helping!!
 18. Pics added for your enjoyment... PMs replied to. And sadly I can't stretch to an EAD Foundation unless someone buys my Marcus Miller Jazz...
 19.
Someone really must buy this though. I nearly bought another the other day but I have amp repairs to pay for and really don't 'need' 2 vintages.
Nobody needs two Vintages.... but having owned one (and misguidedly traded it!) I now want another. I'd be satisfied with one though, honest!
 20. Well I play an occasional bit of slap and tend to have a reasonably "toppy" tone, and find that the Compact handles it admirably. Depends what you are used to, I suppose. They don't have a tweeter of course, so there is no much "sizzle" - but I don't miss that. Out of interest, how much cash would you be talking? I have my eye on a BF Vintage, but I've always wanted to try a Foundation... yours is the 2x12 isn't it?
 21. I'm only putting this up for sale because something has come up that I really, really want! (Another Barefaced cab...). If that item goes, I will be withdrawing this immediately. Immaculate condition. Been in a fitted padded cover since it was bought. No dings, scratches or anything of that sort. Looks brand new. This one has two speakon sockets and the silver grille cloth, so it would cost £590 new (without the shipping). Buying mine will allow you to avoid the waiting times though It also has the (very cool) white piping between the plywood and the silver grille. Fully run-in, but has never been pushed hard. Mega-light (12kg = 27lbs), mega-loud - and with a great tone too. You know the spec... http://barefacedbass...hp?page=compact I'm looking for £450 ovno.
 22.
Want. Want bad. Any trades?
You've already got one, you naughty greedy man! I'd love one of these again, but unless you're interested in trades (which you aren't) I just don't have the cash at the moment unless I can sell my Compact (which used to belong to Wooks...).
 23. Crikey! Back on the road again... you only got it last week didn't you?
 24. Are there two versions of this bass? I thought they cost around three grand?
