The Choralflange, the Dass Drive and the DD-9! How are you powering it? I found that the Choralflange introduces a load of noise so had to opt for a Voodoo lab - but that only powers 8 pedals...
 2. Have another bump on me. The B:Assmaster is mental!
 3.
Sick.
Mental!!!!

 5.
WOW mate that's gorgeous.
Agreed. Stunning.
 6.
Here's a quick YouTube demo of the bass plugged directly into the computer mic socket...
This is a pretty good demo of why I need a Fender Jazz. Or at least it was until you started that slapping malarky. It's not big, and it's not clever. Enjoy the free bump!
 7.
ve 5lbs of spare potatoes.......any use?
Always. But not as a swap in this case. Thank you for you kind offer though.
 8.
Notice the board front as band promo instrument ;-)
Very smart!
 9.
Boss OC 2 octaver Nanoverb 16 bit digital Fx processor
Thanks very much PF, but not really my cuppa tea.
Does it come with a PSU Nick?
This has all the original box contents, but a PSU is not included. It does have a parallel 9v output though - so can be used to daisy chain power.
 10.
Tokai have made several copies of Rickenbacker guitars all of which have the usual Tokai logo on the TRC, so if they has at some point made a 4001/4003 copy there no reason the assume that it would have been any different as regards branding.
Excepet, perhaps, a new found awareness of the litigious nature of Rickenbacker. Just a thought. I share your scepticism. Yet the rumour persists and is quite prevailant.
 11.
up for grabs is this cracking clean blend pedal with a built in feedback loop.. product details here: http://www.bargeconcepts.com/vfb1.html £60 posted
Interesting little gadget. I am not buying at the moment though - but I could see this being quite a useful tool. I am fascinated by the pic though. Surely those potentiometers collide (internally) with the outer-most jack sockets? At least that's how it looks. I wonder how them fit them all in together.
 12.
Here's my intricate setup:
Smashing stuff. Did you build the bypass yourself?
 13.
Gut shot and a close up of the finnish.
You're showing me up. Very neat work!

 15.
I've just ordered one. $65 (in the UK) buys you the PCB and detailed construction techniques (a bit steep I know). It also buys you into their users' forum. Apparently there are folks who offer parts kits too... all will be revealed once I get access to the users' forum.
Oooof! Got the PCB and reading the instructions. I may well have bitten off more than I can chew. Still, I have two more projects on which to improve my skills with the iron before I come to this one!!!
 16.
I want one... so I don't end up stomping my tube off.
Titter. ;-)
 17.
Just finished my third build, a BYOC digi delay with ping pong. Sounds great, almost analogue sounding with quite dark repeats.
Excellent. What's it a clone of?

 19.
that's a B size you got there I think, twice as big as A
Maybe so - but 5 jacks, two LEDs, one PSU socket, one 3PDT, one 4PDT, one DP3T and one DPDT....
 20.
as note, be carefull with those enclosures because there's not much you can fit in there tbh!
I am familiar with this problem!

 22.
My latest efforts, no gutshots because I forgot to take them and the effects are with their new owner now, fuzz face and signal booster both in A size enclosures.
Very very nice. Where do you get the enclosures?
 23.
There are dozens! Pretty much every small detail is a case of almost-but-not-quite right. If anyone's remotely intertested I might do a list tomorrow when I'm a bit less bleary-eyed. EDIT: Actually this is even faker than I thought - with the exception of the headstock shot, all of the pics are renders: http://raykit.co.uk/blog/2009/07/04/3d-bass-guitar/ Bloody hell.
