    After much um-ing and ah-ing about what amp to get (since I sold my Markbass 810 and head I have been using a 30W Fender combo!) my wife finally told me that I should get the cabs I want for my birthday (not till November!) So I bit the bullet and went for the Genz Benz Focus 115 and 210. I have not used a 210 + 115 rig for years but always missed the big 15'' sound when using 410s and 810s and think it will give be some flexibility to to take just the 210 out to small gigs/practices. Will pick up a Streamliner 600 by the end of the year and run through that but for now I wil be using a salvaged old 300W crate head.

    Have to say doesn't this prove what some of us (myself included) believe. Woods mean NOTHING to tone and that it is all in the p/ups and electrics?

    German ones are a steal second hand. My Corvette in French Violet came to me for £400 and has gone through two other owners and looks to be on its way back to me for the same price. Less than a mexi Fender!

    Done now though! Plays wonderfully. As for the chips, as I said, look at the bass! If anything the chips add some more character to the already thrashed bass.

    Last night I went to pick up the P off my rack (the go to bass) and picked this up instead. Sod me if it hadn't settled all out of kilter. 15 mins with a screwdriver though and it was back to its self and I must say plays brilliantly.

    Hi guys, Hoping this is muscially related (I use it to play along with tracks and it plays music!) I have known people to use these little babies to play backing tracks for small pub acoustic gigs (they are silly loud) and guitar guitar sell them now so they must count as MI related! I have a Bose sounddock portable system in great condition for sale.     Thing is because it is fretless it has an ebony board (fretted are Wenge) so to actually get a fretted one with an ebony board would be a custom order
