1. Not as much as you might hope I am afraid mate. Warwicks are pretty much on their arse when it comes to the second hand market right now. The last one to sell on here (http://basschat.co.uk/topic/187251-warwick-fortress-masterman-status-s3000-pics-up/page__p__1813075__hl__warwick%20fortress__fromsearch__1#entry1813075) went for £500 and there is one up for sale at the moment for just £400 (http://basschat.co.uk/topic/186182-warwick-fortress-1-1994-for-sale/page__p__1834240__hl__warwick%20fortress__fromsearch__1#entry1834240) Lovely bass you have there, unless you really need it sold I would keep hold of it, eventually the market will pick up again.
2. Warmoth will do a lefty Explorer bass if you really want one, will probably be better than a Gibson would nowadays!

They are vinyl decals, I got them from an eBay shop, they actually sell them for wall decoration in the home (so should be easy to remove without damaging finish if they can be peeled off painted walls without taking the paint with then) They do them in hundreds of sizes but I went for tiny.
If you like it then that's all that matters. I have to say it looks like you about to lose the game
You are the 4th person to say that! I toyed with having gaps in the 'invaders' but though it looked better without!
6. My wife does not like all the instruments but I have the excuse 'it's for work'! Which is flawless!

Im sure 90% of basschat will think it is horrible but I finally like the way my Stingray looks!
8. Gretsch do a really good kit pack called the GS2 (http://www.gak.co.uk/en/gretsch-gs2e8256klb-gs2-g-series-studio-kit-liquid-black/56858) Decent kit, full Gibralter hardware pack and a set of Sabian cymbals to cap it off, for less cash than that kit you first pointed out. I have had a bang on one of these (I am no drummer mind) and it's a great kit all round for the money.
9.
I would still do the gig if... He could guarantee another slot at a paid gig further down the line in writing.
Problem is with the vast majority of these weekend promoters is that such a promise is worth about as much in writing as it would be whispered into the ear of a fleeting unicorn.
10. Promoters promote. Musicians provide music. This whole 'the band should bring a crowd' sh**e has been going on for years and I am afraid some people are so desperate to play they fall for it time and time again. Yes the band should put the gig up on their facebook or what have you and maybe send out an email or two if they have a mailing list but thats it really, the clue is in the name 'promoter' Most of them seem to think putting a band and venue together is job done. I have a new originals project coming together and it is hardly saturday night at the dog and duck material but I have made it clear from the start I will NOT play for free, for a friend or venue we know personally I will do the first one for expenses and no fee to get to know the place but never for free. I work a hard at a job I thankfully enjoy and play music in my spare time, I will not be out of pocket to do so, I would rather not gig.
11. Thats a great price even with shipping. Someone will be happy.

16. Oh my good god. If this was a lefty I would be getting an angry call from the bank manager.. http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Spector_Rebop_M4.html
17.
Here's a few pics for starters: My design (ruler? What's a ruler?) Rough card template: Nice bit of rosewood for the fingerboard: The project lead, Milo, assessing the materials:
Milo looks like he is getting stuff done.

19. After ending up on the status website due to the Chris Wolstenhome thread I am back to my temptation to get a graphite neck for my CIJ P. Thing is being a lefty I would need it flipped, thats not a big deal I quite like the look. Who has a Status neck on a P bass? Advice?
20. Yeh its not a Warwick nut. Honest value on it Taa? If a mint condition SSI or II only makes 1 grand on here on a good day? 800, and then you might be waiting a long old while.
21. Comes with covers, plenty of cable, perfect nick. 30 quid.
22. [sup]I have a 57' precision.[/sup] [sup]amazing bass.[/sup]
23. Best to get in touch with Fender UK mate, they usually know the numbers etc.
24. Hey everyone, I just bought a new ABS Fender case for my Jazz, not entirely sure why, the Hiscox was great I just wanted a rectangular case! It is the shaped case with a purple lining. Photos to come tonight, its in great nick physically but has some spraypaint and stickers on it! Also no keys with it, threw them away, I never lock a hardcase. about £80 new, so £40 to clear.
