1. don't think I've ever seen a horn box, just the 4052H Is there a model number and do you have any pictures? Assuming that the horn box works the same as the bright box you can take 2 outputs from your amp to the main cabs then use the link on one of them to go to the horn box. This will still give you a 4ohm load
2. Just back and they were fantastic. All clearly enjoying themselves and playing very well. Mark was using his TC rig and played 2 different King Basses I don't want to spoil it for anyone who is going to hear them but there were 2 glaring omissions from the set - personally these 2 songs are Level 42 The new drummer is fantastic as well.
3. I have pretty low action and my bass sits on a stand next to the radiator in the living room most of the time. Hmmmmmm, Sprouts
4. So am I the only one never to have had to adjust my truss rod ever? I used to leave my bass in the car overnight in all weathers and didn;t have to touch anything
5. The missing link between the TNT150 and the Databass, a quality combo
6. Bargain for a quality combo - would buy it if I had the cash You want a quality combo with all the bells and whistles? This is it. The dogs bollox. Forgot all about this light weight sh*te this is the real deal
7. If I had the cash I would buy up everything Trace Elliot, similar to Thornybank I absolutely love this stuff. Its such good quality, reliable gear Whoever buys this whether beginner or advanced is going to love it
8. Reminds me of reading through Guitarist magazine in the late 80s and seeing that ad with the Gretsch Country Gentleman and The George Van Eps 7 string. Memories, like the something something something
9. I've built 2 Warmoth ones. Both extremely well made

11. I would think that you just need to move a couple of wires on the switch
12. I'm sure this has been discussed before but there are 3 pubs local to me that have bands on. If we want more work then we've either got to head south to the borders or north to Inverness and that's a hell of a trip. Especially when I can make 4 or 5 times as much playing a wedding gig round the corner but then again the rock band is all about the rock band thing of hiring a van, driving for miles, playing quality rock tunes, drummer at the wrong gig, having drunk punters shouting for more, the banter, loading the van and going home happy.
13.
Went to have a look and its gone already! ;-)
Think that was the Ebay auction that the OP bought the bass from I think
14. I've tried removing the cap and even going to the extent of removing the pots and going straight to the output jack. Wiring straight to the output has a huge influence on tone. it sounds nothing like having volume and tone all the way up. Simply being there despite not using it has an effect. As for capacitors. go with what others have said and try loads, they're not expensive. Just like after searching for years for plectrums I finally find 'the ones', coincidentally its the same ones that Chris Squire uses, I found the capacitors I needed to help me get the sound in my head - 0.1 paper in oil caps, same spec as what Leo Fender used in the first Precisions before changing them for cheaper alternatives
15. wow, that's really nice If I had the cash etc etc etc Seriously, never seen one in that colour before
16. That's practically giving it away. they normally go for a hell of a lot more than that. Wonder if he's selling a Wal for £800?
17.
the gap is very sligtly over 5.5cm which is grim, but not much mod to fix it i guess wudnt be to hard, is there any decent places to get those necks from? also wud a epi one be just as thin u rec?
That shouldn't require much work to get a thunderbird neck on. Its an Epi that I have This one is already sitting at £60 including postage - may be better off waiting for a japcrap neck to come up? 18. its just slightly over 56mm at the widest point. a standard Fender heel is about 64mm
19.
Was just about to say that. Every time i've seen RW i love it when Andy FL lets rip, first time he did windmills and everything! RE The Bass, i'd prefer the Sunburst Precision he used to use, that's the Fender bass he's known for playing
Or how about the Dark Side of the Moon bass which is black with rosewood fretboard? to be honest I didn't even realise he used a maple necked precision until I looked it up on goole images - he's been using them for years.
20. Now that looks like a very cheap copy. I had to have a really good look to see if there actually a scratchplate there. As others have said its just another Fender Precision - if they'd used a B/W/B scratchplate, vintage tint on the neck, maybe even a cigarette burn mark on the headstock, issue it with a white curly lead then we might be getting somewhere.
21.
As far as I'm aware they don't have a bass player.
They tour with a full band - Dave Grohl played on their newest album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bq46OY-FHIc
22. Thunderbird necks are a lot narrower at the heel than Fenders and the like. There's a seller in th US sells Epi parts. Pm me the width and I'll measure my thunderbird if you like
23. If courier cost or distance is an issue, I may be able to meet up with you depending on how far away you live. If you're relatively local and interested then PM me as I will be using this cab live next saturday so you can hear it for yourself.
