1. Awww, crap. I've always wanted one of these.
2. I have a peavey microbass and it is fantastic.
3. The gallery have always been flexible on price with me, and Alex gets all my new bass business. The Gallery are too good not to.
4. Well Kev, what did you go for?
5. I'm going to make a Berg cab one of my next purchases, I just need to decide on either the NV610 and the NV215. Argh.
6. On a gear related note: Always, always play your new toys with the rest of the band before you decide if you like them or not. I was gutted when my (now) favourite overdrive came - I'd spend alot of money on it and I plugged it in at home and it sounded awful. Seriously bad. I put it on my "backup" pedal board and decided in a week I'd probably return it to the maker. Next band practice comes around, I pickup the wrong pedalboard on the way out of the house, end up deciding to give this pedal a go.... WOW, it just fits perfectly into the band mix - couldn't be better. Ace.
7. Those are tasty, Kev - my second favourite muff circuit. It's alot of cash (£100 w/tax etc.) but if it's in decent nick I'd go for it - you only live once!
8. Is that the silver one with blue writing?

Eddy's a great guy, and loves to talk bass. I did a deal with him on a Dingwall Super J and everything was perfect. Thanks again mate, Joe.
10. I've found circuits based on the Rams head big muff to be especially pleasing to my ears. Current favourite is the Swollen Pickle by Way Huge - but you'll need deep pockets and a passive bass for one of thoes
11. I've never been blown away with any of ths Shuker's I've played, without exception they've all felt fragile. That doesn't mean that I can't see the attraction of a competatively priced custom instrument for alot of players.
12. You should go to the Gallery in London and play some for yourself.
13. You'll be putting 750 watts into 2 x 12. I'm sure it'll be loud enough. MY DB750 absolutely slays connected to my UL310.
14. It is the polyphonic octave generator... I dont know.
Heh, Toasted recommending the computer pedals there! Do you know how much delay time you need? Most analog delays are more of a chorus effect, or a subtle echo. If you want a nice digital pedal with loads of variety, including an analog sound, try the marshall echohead. If you can get a DD-20 for £100, go for it!
... yet I've got a Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay on my board. I also know that not many people are willing to join waiting lists, and pay big money for a 500ms analog delay w/o tap tempo.

How much do you really need? I like upto 500ms, and don't think it's too much. Not many analogue delays do that. For £100 I'd hang out on ebay and get a dd-20, for £150 I'd get a TCE Nova Delay

What would you do?

Yeah, it's a neat way of getting around someone coming in the thread and asking me if I'll be recording onto wax discs Joe.

What would you do?

Opinions are not often balanced - also they're most fun when they're not. I'll never put a computer in my immediate signal chain Joe.

23. If you use a powerstation / onespot / Pedalpower 2 it's worth email James @ Diago about his 9v -> 18V inline voltage doubler. It takes a 9v source and doubles it to 18v, it also can provide many, many milliamps unlike the godlyke alterative. It's perfect for running your fulltone pedals at 18. I cant remember the price, but I think it's about the same as a wallwart and a hell of a lot more tidy Tasty.
24. I liked the one I played alot
