1. The Foxrox Octron is a great octaver, but probably more than you're willing to spend. I've had 4. (!!)
Toasted - you remind me of Ted Heath post 1975!
With the Conservative Party losing three out of four general elections by 1974 under his leadership, Heath came to be seen as a liability by many Conservative MPs, party activists, and sympathetic newspaper editors. Among the wider electorate he attracted more sympathy, partly because of public statements he had made hinting at his willingness to consider the idea of serving in a government of national unity. It's almost perfect

Great feature. Shame you can't block global-root-supreme-beings :ninja:
4. I live in Baildon too. Hello Bradfordians
5. You're thinking of the POG
6. Now that's a damn good price on a Q6.
7. I've got one with a regular headstock and it's an amazing bass. That one doesn't have the Celinder pickups. There was a time when he put Bad-ass II's and other kinds of pickup in. Now it's only the hipshot Celinder bridge and hardware, Celinder pickups. The ones with the BA II and non-celinder pickups really aren't the same. Pale imitations IMO.
8. I think my 610 changed subtly in sound after about 8 hours at "full" volume.
9. Thanks again to everyone for the kind comments. Steve, the '69 is really great (despite it being for sale - I need a 5 string!) and it's not really a fair comaprison because I'm emotionally attached to my Celinder (aww).
10. db750 = the home of tone

"Sold"

Thank God this isn't black or my wallet would be really hurting.
12. The best 5 string basses I've played were 535s.
13. It's just a case of being in the right place at the right time mert. There's some amazing bargains to be had by looking in the right places: Deep Impact £60, Unibass x 2 £50/each, Bass Whammy: £100, Mutron w/lindenberg mods £120, Animato Distortion: £80, I've bought about 5 Fulltone bassdrives for not more than £75.
14. I got mine for £60. I win at buying pedals.
15. Pics of VJ5 plz!
16. I need to return an effect pedal worth £200 to the US manufacturer for warranty repair. I've obviously already imported this pedal and paid import duty and VAT to HRMC when it first arrived in the UK. When I send the pedal back to the manufacturer I don't want them to have to pay import duty to get it into the USA, and when they return it to me I don't want to have to pay import duty and VAT that I've already paid one before. (Are you keeping up with me?) I phoned the lovely Caroline at HRMC yesterday morning who told me that I needed to go to my Post Office and ask them when declaring the package through customs to apply the (O.P.R. "outward processing relief) - simplified procedure". Predictably when I went to the post office I got the "I've work'd fer Post Office thi'ty year and ave never 'eard o' that". To which I replied, "It only became active on 2005 can you see if someone else here knows how to do it?". Needless to say my trip was a failure. I've also tried to explain my predicament at length to my local Parcel Force depot who don't want to know either. What do I do!!?
17.
Mmmm.... nice looking rig. Will you be playing any where near the cobbled streets of lancs any time soon? I would love to have a listen!
I hope so, Cameron. I'll let you know. I'm not sure the music will be to your taste, but you'll hear some awesome bass tone.
Seems to be a pedalboard missing from these shots

What happened to that American bought thing with the fanned frets? You ever play that anymore?
I sold it to our very own 6stringbassist - Eddie from Athens, who adds it to his collection os 20 (!!) Dingwalls.
You've been a busy one aintcha? I share the thoughts of many bro. Nice set up indeed.Take care man.D
Dazza, how's it going for you mate? I hear things are hotting up for Profane. Can't be long before I have to beg for guestlist for your shows. Remember those of us who came and froze our balls off in Jabez Clegg etc. for you!
18. I'm playing with two bands in Leeds. One is Euro Screamo, the other is Grindcore.
19. Interesting but I'd still get an X2.

The berg is for winners, and that SUNN will make it scream!

*edit*

The one tayste said was an NS-2 is one of the RV pedals. But I didn't know the double drive, so we're quits.
22. Nash, get one from Mark @ Bass Direct, he'll take great care of you - but first get your ass over to Leamington and try the 6x10 and the 2x15 and decide which you like more.
23. I've got a pair of Mission 750 LE / SE in cherry that I'd be happy to let go for £70. I dont think you'd find a better speaker at the price and they'll cover your outlined needs. I replaced them with some Quad 12L2's

SOLD!!

It's not an artifically reliced finish, but it has playing wear if you understand my meaning

Do you have green/orange/purple/red paper with the queens head on? I'm not fussy on the colour
