1.
Never thought that I would see a black market for Vintage OBBM leads!
Psst... want to buy a watch, or some DVDs, or some perfume for the laydee in your life? Dave's cables are the best and he's my "go to guy" when I need a new cable. In fact, he's just made me a new one! Patch lead now sold, so just the speaker cables left.
 2.
Received mine today thanks a lot buddy, will leave feedback.
Happy days!
 3. With my move to EA, this great little combo is now surplus to requirements. Details can be found here, but basically it's a 1x10 35 watt combo. Surprisingly loud and can even handle a 5 string at moderate volume. Very good condition, low miles, one careful owner. £100 plus postage
 4. Hi Nik The guitar/mandolin/banjo player in my band may well want one or both of these (you can probably see why from the start of this sentence!), so let me check and I'll get back to you. Cheers Gareth
 5.
My "musical operancy" light was first switched on when listening to Blow By Blow as a 14 yr old: I was happily thudding my head to Cozy Powell
For me, "Rough and Ready", awesome stuff.
 6.
You have PM
And sold, pending the usual.
 7.
"I've never been this far away from bass"
Hi Bob Me too. I bought myself a tenor acoustic guitar from Fylde just before Christmas, and I can't believe what a blast it is playing something totally new. Four strings, tuned GDAE low to high, and just a joy to play. It also opens me up to other similar instruments such as mandolin and bouzouki should I wish to go all folky!!! How's the PRS btw? I was promised pics you know... Cheers Gareth
 8.
I'll take it.
I thank you. Sending PM now.
 9.
Is the Speakon lead 10 foot or 10 inches, sorry I'm not good with imperial.
Inches.
 10. Sold a cab to Alan and, like Nik, everything went swimmingly. Definitely one of the good guys! Thanks!
 11. And another! Antony is a seriously good guy. I traded for his iAmp500 and NL210; both in terrific nick (just as he described) and the deal was done with items posted by both parties on trust. I couldn't be more pleased, and dealing with people like Antony restores your faith in mankind.

 15.
...and fairy dust
Oh no it wasn't (sorry, panto hangover)
 16. My Brook 5 string can cope played against two acoustics when we're all unplugged and providing I'm using a pic (fingerstyle just doesn't have enough bite). Of course it doesn't have massive bottom end or make your trousers flap, but you can certainly hear it as a different sound in the acoustic mix. Mind you, the Brook is a specialist bit of kit; cusom made so BIG body, solid timbers, properly stressed top and back for decent projection. I doubt many budget ABGs could compete against two guitars in the same way. I think acoustic basses are perfectly valid, providing you're realistic in what they can do. Cheers Gareth
 17. Only Gator 4u shallow abs rack case, see post in Misc Items.
