1. If only someone would buy my Veillette or PJB cab. I want these so bad!
2. Used Dunlop straplocks in black, but only the part that fits to the strap. £10 posted. Chrome strap button with screw. New. £3 posted. [s]Black felt washers for strap buttons (3 are thin and new, 2 are thicker and used). 99p each or all for £4 posted.[/s]
3. 1 set of La Bella Hard Rockin't Steels, 45-105. Lightly used. Tenner plus postage. Single D'Addario XLB125 low B. Nickel roundwound .125 taper low B. Unused. A fiver plus postage.
4. I have three of Dave's finest speaker cables for sale. Two 3ft long, Speakons both ends, Klotz 4mm cable. New they'd be £15 each, I'd like a tenner for each plus postage. One 20ft long, same spec as above. New I think this would be £25, I'd like £20 plus postage of your choice. Cheers Gareth
5. I have had a UK-made LB30 and LB212 cab for two weeks now. Absolutely love it and am astonished at how loud it can get. One word: TONE
6. I picked one of these basses up from The Gallery a couple of weeks ago to use in the Jam/Weller band I joined a few months back. I have to say, I am really impressed with it. It's very well put together, with excellent fit and finish. The weight is good (just a shade under 10lbs) with no neck dive, no dead spots. The neck is chunky but fast. It sounds great passive, but I had Alex put a P Retro in it anyway, and it is an absolute tone monster. Amazing what you can get for under £400 these days... Gareth
7. Well, I used my LB30 head and LB212 cab at rehearsal for the first time; one word: Wow. With my P-Retro'd Squier Matt Freeman in active mode into the "High" input, I only had the volume at 9 o'clock and it sounded huge. Seriously happy with the amp and cab. I had been tempted to get two of the VS212, 8 ohm versions of esentially the same cab, but I'm not sure I'll need to move much more air than this. And all from a 30 watt amp. Incredible...
8. Sold a cab to Brian. Top gent with fast payment and great communication. Recommended.

Bought Luke's Bassbone (my third, will I ever learn?). Great communication and a pleasure to deal with.
10. The Phil Jones PB300 would also do this job very well.
11. These really are the biz. I regret selling mine as it gave the most righteous tone.
12. Toby Chennell has a mate who makes custom stuff for his basses, maybe try him?
13. Well, it sounds fantastic, that's the main thing!
14.
Mine says 100w! They were a limited run to go in hand with the Little Bastard head. Mine was purchased with one of the 100 UK handmade LB heads (I was not allowed to buy the head without the cab) so whether they only made these for the UK heads I'm not sure, but mine says 'handmade in uk' on the rear as did the head, and they certainly seem to have run out quickly. Yeah, it says 100w on the back of mine, but the drivers are 200w each as you can see by the LB112. No idea why, but Ashdown confirm they are 400w and it did say that for a time on their website, but the product is now in their 'Legacy' section with no info. I'm very happy with mine. I no longer have the head, but use it with a Bass Terror and it sounds great. Very punchy, warm and clear. Very light thanks to the neo-whatsit drivers, looks fantastic, and is the perfect height to put stuff on at a gig, like your amp head (or pint)!
I just picked up a UK handmade LB30 head and LB212 cab today too, and my cab also says 100 watts at 4 ohms. I will be very happy if it is actually rated higher!
15. The 8B is now sold pending the usual.
16.
Hi what condition is the 8 b in? How long have you had it?
It's mint, just weeks old, I still have the box. Only selling as I want to go to old skool valves and 12" drivers.
17. Hello all I have one of these straps for sale. It's the medium length version, adjustable from 123 cm to 153 cm. It's really nice and in very good condition; good, strong and thick leather. The only thing I need to point out is I drilled a small extra hole, for a straplock, on the bridge end of the strap, and there are also two pen marks there for more (as yet undrilled). Harvest say: This strap for heavy instruments out of buffalo leather comes with the classic length adjustment. Made with a nice vintage pull up finish and produced with decorative offwhite seams. The strap is made out of two layer of full grain leather, together these are about 3 to 3.6 mm thick. Full grain leather is very strong and durable. The strap's width is 8.5 cm. It is the perfect width for holding the bass comfortably over a longer period of time. 20 euros plus postage new, I'd like £10 posted. Cheers Gareth
18. That is my perfect P bass right there! Is the active circuit a retro-fit, as I'm sure the Hot Rods were passive only? Cheers Gareth
19.
to me it just looks like he has left the protective film on and it is starting to peel . nice amp
Ah yes, good call.
