Bought an EBS cab off of Tony. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with the man. A top bloke who knows what he's talking about.
3. I'm confused, I've just been reading that I can't use a 4 ohm cab with an 8ohm amp...help!
4. I don't know much about bass gubbins so the question I ask is - can I use this with my EBS HD 350 head? it says on the speaker outputs '8 ohms'
5. Would I need two 8ohm cabs to get this at 4ohms/600 watts? (please bear with me, I'm new to caring about gear)
6. Trace Elliot GP7 SM300 Mesa/Boogie Diesel 2x10 300 Watt Cab 8Ohm Trace Elliot 1518T 1x15 300 Watt Cab 8Ohm £450 the lot. The head is pre-Gibson, not sure of the year but it's in excellent condition. The Mesa cab is a bit tatty but in excellent working order. The Trace cab has been gigged a handful of times from new. I'm hanging up my hat on the gig scene so it's time for it to go. I may consider splitting but would prefer to sell as a complete rig. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Pick up only from Bristol. Thanks for looking
7. I so want this, if I sell my Trace GP7 SM300, Mesa/Boogie Diesel 2x10 and Trace 1518T 1x15 quickly then I'm having it.

Two-piece warwick bridge, just-a-nut.
9. I've got a 300w trace 1x15 if you're interested in a swap?

12. Maybe the reason the bassist in the OP gets busy is coz the drummer he's working with is not supplying a decent foundation. There's nothing like having a good drummer to give you the confidence to just lay down the line and groove it out.
13. I don't have a problem lending my gear, I did it on Saturday night, life's too short, I remember what it's like to be struggling with no gear, I couldn't afford to replace mine if it got w***ed so maybe I need to revise this attitude.
14. Hang on, you could be a tax inspector on the sly! Disregard my frivolous post. Declare everything!
15.
I've had my Boss TU2 for years. It has never let me down (touch wood). I don't use it as a pedal as it sits on top of my cab and goes direct into my amp.
Ditto
16. Happens to me all the time. I'll find myself panicking until I'm right on top of the chord change, and then suddenly my fingers find the right notes. Remember, you're only ever a semi-tone away from a 'right' note.
