And when most original nights that I've done usually have about a 15 min or so change over time, there is plenty of time to change over.
There might be the time but not always the room, unless you pack up your gear and get it out into cars/van the very instant you stop playing. Then you have to either take it home or hang around outside with your beer to stand guard over it all. Personally I like to hang out after a gig and have a pint with the people who've bothered to turn up to see us play. As I said I've never had a problem with other players using my gear and I've never had an issue with others letting me use theirs, it's the done thing down here in Bristol and helps to foster a community spirit amongst the muso's.
2. In my experience, it's the done thing to use the headline act's drum kit (except cymbals, snare and pedals) and bass gear. I always try to check with the bassist beforehand, if I can't contact him then I'll take mine as a precaution and ask him on the night. Never had a problem. I always ask regards mucking about with EQ and such and always, always, always buy him a pint. It's the Bristol way!

I sold Tim my Ampeg Cab t'other week and it was a pleasure dealing with the guy. He drove all the way up to Bristol with cash in his wallet and bought the cab on trust as I didn't have a head for him to try it out with. Totally nice bloke and no fussing about.
4. I've got a Trace Elliiot Boxer 30, does me just fine for practice. Sounds great and I've even done small gigs with her!
5. If I can sell my Spector quickly enough I'll have it! Spector Euro 4 lx thru-neck
6. I reckon it looks gert lush.
7.
Spy Austin's kool player.... however this isn't his best.... I still like Nathan's version - P.U.T.P. Loop
I'm not entirely sure who 'Nathan' is but man that's fantastic!
8. I'd be up for a go when it visits Bristol
9. I'd say the main thing done at home is changing the strings/battery and general cleaning. Anything major and I take it to my trusted luthier. Horizontal is best!

12.
evilLordJuju is a top guy and a real vintage enthusiast - the main man on the Vintage guitar forum - with an eye-popping collection of gear; some wacky, all very cool . Two out of my last three basses I've acquired by straight swaps (thanks ELJJ and Molan!) and it's a great way of releasing GAS without spending dosh in the here and now. Only trouble is, got nothing left to swap now! Take my wife ..........please (Aythankyew....... )
I'm trying to get into the swapping market..It looks like fun! trying to swap my Spector Euro 4 for a Fender P-bass Anyone?
13.
Definitely not the answer.... you probably won't enjoy Her Majesty's nick Barlinnie at all
I wasn't advocating any physical violence or criminal activity. Just a 'friendly' escorting to the nearest cashpoint to make the thieving git pay his dues!
14. If you have an idea of where he lives, I'm up for accompanying you to 'pay him a visit'. I'm sure we could get crew together and march him down to the cashpoint.

Hi there

Hello mate. Welcome You'd better warn your bank manager!
16. I'm looking to swap my spector for a Fender P-bass of equal value. I paid £1000 for this Spector. It's a Euro 4 LX, Ultra Amber, Thru-neck, maple with a rosewood board. Schaller tuners/strap-locks. Pump pre-amp, EMG pup's. Brass nut/Bridge. It's got a few tiny dings coz it's been out there working it's ass off! This bass sounds amazing, it has massive tonal range. Might also be willing to sell at the right price, but would prefer the trade option. Here's a few pics. I'll take some more when I can find my camera! (I reckon the cat's hidden it)
17.
Cheers, Will probably give a call later but cant while I am at work and just wanted to see if it was an option for friday. I am planning it today and It was either bass direct and warwick castle or west midlands safari park, I think we have a winner and its bass related!
Warwick have a castle? is that where they build their basses?
18. I like the groove of 'Feel Like Making Love', the other three tracks didn't move me quite as much. Nice work though.
