  3. Ironically I'm waiting for something from Parcelfarce, Its been shipped from Canada using their postal service and is taking forever..... Ultimately glad to hear you parcel arrived though.
  4. Don't they call it 'southern rock'?
  5. I've not had good experience of parcel farce, I must admit, while they've not lost my parcel. The usual claim 'we delivered/you were out' crap. Hmm I think not, there was someone in all day waiting for a parcel. after a few phone calls the tracking suddenly changed, and they admitted they'd dropped it off at a local post office. Went to collect a vinyl record and the doddery person there was about to bend the vinyl just to get it through the counter hatch. Never again, much prefer couriers theses days, but then I appreciate, nothing is without fault, but so far been OK.

  7. GLWTS. It's great amp, used to have one, my profile pic is derived from one of these.
  8. Generally speaking the photographer, owns the copyright, however its not always that simple, they may have been made to sign a contract, and the festival may own the copyright, I'm speaking from experience here as I've been reviewing and shooting bands recently in another role, and there have been occasions where Ive had a contract thrust into my hands before i'm allowed into 'the pit'. Sometimes its easiest to walk away as others have suggested, but it may be worth approaching the festival organisers and asking why your pic was chosen as you're not on this years bill, it can go either way but they may have an alternative they can use. Its got to be worth a shout and pointing out you're not on the bill, may just swing it.
  9. ive struggled to take any decent pics of basses, yet stick me in a photopit at a gig, an I feel at home photography wise, with guitars or basses my pics are very average.
  10. I'd second Phil Jones amps too, I have a bass cub, a tiny amp, but with a huge sound. I recently tried a microbass a few days ago, a great little amp too, but defiantly a thumbs up for Phil Jones, how he does it, i don't know.
  11. Thank you, I didn't know that's how it worked, i've only recently returned. As you also state historically we've taken the view....., and thats the exact one I've taken and feel I've been berated for it. As far as i'm concerned the issue is closed on here from my own perspective.
