1. sh*t! That's lovely, what an awesome top. Not too coffe table-ish
2. cocco

sold.

Are you into any trades? I quite fancy a long horn for the legendary recordings value alone.
3. I like the Chris sig. I couldn't deal with that many nobs though. I love the simple pre on my Energy. I do think it would be nice to have bass cut/boost too and maybe a passive mode with a tone control but I don't want that much control from the bass. Do the status faithful think Rob would build an S2 with a 2 band pre?
4. That's a lot of bass for £400.
5. Dream year of birth bass
6. I've always fancied a Mustang, and I just traded a lovely black and maple 50s P for a status energy, and I'm in Cardiff. What a nob!
7. I wonder how it stacks up against a Jack Casady though. I know the pickup config is different and one is US and one isn't but the JC is supposed to be a really good bass, both are semi hollow 34" 335 ish shaped lovelies. And the JC also looks great in black.
8. I love it too, just wish it had vol and tone for each pickup, on a purely aesthetic level though.
9. Is it black or purple?
10. Is the 3000 wood or graphite necked?
11. At the moment, mine are 1 Status S2000 2 Pre EB ray 3 50s/60s P 4 Rick 3001 5 Yamaha Attitude
12. If i was to commission a custom it would be something like this. Looks great. With a black plate and black hardware it'd be gorgeous.
13. Just so you know, the headstock says 600 and the thread says 500
14. Why don't I have any cash ever?
15. I regret selling my club bass now
16. That's lovely.
17. I got the bass in question home yesterday. Haven't had chance to plug it in yet but the neck and feel of the whole thing is amazing
18. I am in your fine city. Are there any good music shops nearish the bull ring?
19. Yeah, that's a lovely looking yammie
20. It is a gorgeous bass though.
21.
I'm sure, for a medium sized fortune, Warwick can knock you up a custom bass...
Yeah, but it would be even better P shaped.
22. I like it too. Would be even better corvette shaped and with two P pickups (preferably Di Marzio) though.
23. I'll have a graphite necked energy 4 soon if you want a look? I'm in South Wales too, I know it's not a 5er but it might be useful.
24. Matrix means headed if it was me I'd go for a stealth I think. It looks like it would play the best of the 3, I can imagine the king bass being cumbersome by comparison and I don't like the idea of such a small body as the streamline.
