Hello All I bought this from BC very recently. It's a stunning bass and when I saw it I had to have it. However, it was an impulse buy and I'm not using it, My 75 remains king.As you can see from the pictures it has been given a good going over by the limelight team and it just looks fab. Loads of tone nice neck and plays really well. Weight 9lb on the nose. Not really looking for trades. Comes with a soft case. More than happy to post (Fully insured). Also happy to meet up locally to Birmingham. £750 inc Postage

I want one. I don’t need one, but want one. Norman’s review is limited. However he’s playing does the job.

I’ve just met Tom to collect an NS Eub. Excellent communication from start to finish. He was kind enough to meet me for collection. Another fine example from the BC Community.

Top man. I wouldn’t be to hard on yourself. It’s ok to have an opinion and voice. One of the reasons bass players are so intelligent, and this forum is so great -
Morning all. I have for sale this beautiful black Avalon U5. A wonderful piece of equipment that I have used both live and in the studio. I have recently had it fully serviced by Chris Myring, who is the only authorised Avalon Tech in the UK. You can see his test sticker on the back. It's in perfect condition and has been kept in the SKB hard case from day one, which is about 18months ago. The black one is very cool and looks good in any rig. There are some honest reviews here: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/U5/reviews This is a great package. You get a world-class DI, Rack ears and a quality SKB case. I'm looking for £400 all in! ( Including postage!! ) Price includes postage or am more than happy to meet up near to Birmingham, in a service station that is mutually acceptable Trade wise, I'm still looking at a second 4 string fretless, happy to add cash for the right bass. Fender Jazz style, MM, Tokai, Warwick As always any questions please ask.

There are two albums that standout for me this year. Benjamin Clementine “ I tell a fly” Declan O’Roukes “chronicles of the great Irish Famine”

I’m really fond of many artists. From my early 80’s school days friends sharing tapes of Grandmaster flash etc. I loved Dougie fresh, Beastie Boys. Those bands who mixed it up Urban clown Possie. 24/7 Spies. I lost faith jurying the gangster racially unaware period. In more recent years it’s has to be. i love there clean political approach He just doesn’t fit the mold -

I think Nile Rodgers has to be up there -
This is the endless debate in the bands I am in. We generally start with 3 songs no caps one into another all top tunes, get peoples attention. we then do the hellos. In my experience, once the booze starts to take effect we on it. Any anthem type tunes are always second half, everyone up dancing together. I also pick out the group who are desperate to dance ask them their names then, the combination of good songs and banter usually makes for a top night. I don't think its just about playing good songs may be an 80/20 split? Sometimes a crowd need a push!

My Avalon developed this odd hum. Via their site, i found Chris and just want you all to no what a brilliant service I received. his diligence and electronics knowledge is staggering. There is no stone unturned. He kept me up to date with his investigations. A simple fix for him and he gave the whole unit the once over. Its really great to meet someone you can trust, who is passionate about his work. If you need him: Chris Myring [email protected]

Hello all This is the most immaculate condition JV P bass. The neck of this bass is incredible. I have owned it for 2 years and never thought I would sell it. However, like many of us, things change. I can take as many detailed pictures as you like if you PM me. This is all original and it doesn't have a mark on it. ( I will replace the original strap pins). This is an "as new" example of these incredible basses. Its never been gigged and used a handful of times at home. serial number JV27794 so its 82-84 I would prefer collection, as I don't have a hard case, which is what this bass needs in transit. (I have a soft case) I can arrange courier at buyers expense. Or am happy to meet up close to Birmingham. I'm asking £850 ono
