This is great. I feel like I’m embroiled in some type of conspiracy. My life has just got interesting. I’m selling the bass in question on the forum. The original sale line I put up was “ Fender Jazz with limelight love” Another chatter pointed out that this may be throwing others of the sent. ill be perfectly honest, when I bought this bass I thought it was a fender jazz reissue that had been pimped by Limelight. I honestly thought that’s what they did. Like some people do with cars. Once I had read upon the company I realised I’d made a genuine mistake. So changed it immediately. Im not sure of the legality of logos etc. i completely agree about not promoting the sale of fake instruments in any way. I don’t think it’s the quality of the bass as the Limelight is stunnng to play and I own genuine vintage fender jazzes. It’s the intent to decive that would damage the site. Maybe it’s an issue for the powers at be need to consider ( wait until I’ve sold my Limelight first please) I do believe in the integrity of BC Members. I’ve been buying and selling on here for years and have never had anything but good experiences. I’ve often relied on the comments and knowledge of other members to inform my decision and increase my own knowledge I’ve always felt I can post questions Maybe we need a section to “Ask the experts”

I’ve just met Tom to collect an NS Eub. Excellent communication from start to finish. He was kind enough to meet me for collection. Another fine example from the BC Community.

Top man. I wouldn’t be to hard on yourself. It’s ok to have an opinion and voice. One of the reasons bass players are so intelligent, and this forum is so great

I’m really fond of many artists. From my early 80’s school days friends sharing tapes of Grandmaster flash etc. I loved Dougie fresh, Beastie Boys. Those bands who mixed it up Urban clown Possie. 24/7 Spies. I lost faith jurying the gangster racially unaware period. In more recent years it’s has to be. i love there clean political approach He just doesn’t fit the mold

This is the endless debate in the bands I am in. We generally start with 3 songs no caps one into another all top tunes, get peoples attention. we then do the hellos. In my experience, once the booze starts to take effect we on it. Any anthem type tunes are always second half, everyone up dancing together. I also pick out the group who are desperate to dance ask them their names then, the combination of good songs and banter usually makes for a top night. I don't think its just about playing good songs may be an 80/20 split? Sometimes a crowd need a push!

My Avalon developed this odd hum. Via their site, i found Chris and just want you all to no what a brilliant service I received. his diligence and electronics knowledge is staggering. There is no stone unturned. He kept me up to date with his investigations. A simple fix for him and he gave the whole unit the once over.
