See what happens with a potential trade today. A guy really wants my bass but only has a 5 to trade - a lovely Bass but I’m unlikely to bond with it. dont want to spend while I’ve got money tied in a trade - will keep in touch

Yeah. It would seem it - what a shame as it ticks so many boxes. Would a BA2/Omega work - bit more travel?

The bottom section tends to snap off, if someone didn’t have the skill to glue it back on...they’ve just made a hash of it. These fetch about a grand - in some cases more. Mostly down to the Nirvana/Rocket From The Krypt Connections. I tried to order one of the 2015 limited edition ones. But was let down. Theres one on EBay now at £625, collect only and miles away. A real shame.

I think it’s a black Eagle with all the good bits and frets crudely removed. what a shame

Go to the gig as a punter with a better looking, younger band. Make a big fuss out of every joke and make sure you’re in their line of sight all night...

Yeah. Most likely. I basically got this a bit cheaper than what they go for as it’s not pristine. But as I’ve bought bits it’s probably just as well I don’t spend £300 on a paint job as I’d end up about £200 down if I sold it after. it currently owes me about as much as a rough one would go for. see how I feel when I’ve done the battery box.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. But a decent pro job is about £400 for a flake paint job.

Haven’t got the money for a sparkle paint job. Although two considered options Gun Metal Sparkle British Racing Green Sparkle.

Oh. And I replaced the strap buttons with black gotoh ones as the others were super worn.

Replaced the neck plate with a black gotoh, replaced the bridge with a black gotoh. So. I need to find some decent pickup screws. And I want to check over the jack socket as it’s a barrel unit and it’s a bit on/off. I’ve taken out the battery box which will be stripped and resprayed. then it’s “finished” So I then decide what I’m doing with it.

Think it was linked to his tattoo and an Instagram tag. He’s a jammy bugger though - always lands on his feet. Lovely bloke, well deserved.

A mate of mine Alex is mad obsessed with them, he has their “infinity” logo tattooed on his arm. Somehow he ended up joining them on stage to play drums...(found the vid) I don’t remember any of their songs, but I’d know them if I heard them. Sort of Springsteen meets Graham Parker and The Rumour. Anyhow, yes; I’ve heard of them 😂

I’ve never been asked to sell a bass to as many people as this...

There are 4 basses on eBay at the moment I’d buy. Have politely messaged each seller. All 4 basses are still running. I’d be able to drive for 2 of them, but just haven’t got the time this side of Christmas - kids have busier social lives than me. Fuming.
