8. i love those 80's Ibanez models - how's the weight?
9. Bought this off BC a while back - great cab with good olde school sound. I just need something bigger, used to have a 4x10 and need one again. So selling for that reason. Photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49793253@N07/...57626169129667/ You can see on the back that a washer is missing from one of the input sockets, but makes no difference to it working properly, and I'm sure one could be sourced. Otherwise good condition, the odd tiny tear in tolex but hell it's been gigged!! Speakers crucially are in good nick and hold that low end. Great bargain. Will meet within reasonable distance for petrol money.
10. Rob's a great bloke, sold him my Sandberg - and enjoyed a good chat somewhere off the M1 - smooth transaction, good communications Sell/buy with confidence.

12.
It's a bit simplistic to say that a P is better than a Jazz, there's so many factors involved. I love my Sandberg JJ5 (admittedly not a Fender Jazz, basically the same bass though), it sounds brilliant in my (rock) band. Would a P sound better? I get the exact sound in my head and it sounds like that in the context of the other instruments, so a P could only move away from that.
wasn't really implying a P is 'better' per se, I love Jazzes, but rather that the P succeeds more in terms of presence..
13. ah yes, there is always that
14. i know this has come up before, but was illustrated for me Friday night - saw a band who did two sets - the bass player used a RI Fender jazz in first set (with a pedal board I couldn't really see and a 1x15 combo) - good sound, but I was wanting it to cut thro more. second set, he used an RI Fender P all the way through, exactly same combo and pedal board, and the P was just PRESENT in the way the jazz wasn't. To me, Jazzes are sweet things, with so much to offer tonally, but not sure they are able to really exert their authority in a band situ - when we get back gigging next month I know I'll be reaching for my P
15. sorry to hear that mate - i know your gear is always spotless - the wait will make them more worthwhile??
16. r the basses damaged?

20. Tis a Fender P 62 re-issue I reckon from pics etc
21. this used to be mine but came with original white pickguard (u still got it?) - i thought the serial number was familiar and just checked on some old photos - i had it pre-East and Nordstrand pups but it was a great player that I gigged a fair bit. Tempted to have it back. Does the East have a passive option? Must sound pretty massive?
22. birds eye maple has a sort of figuring in the maple that is really nice - some necks get made from this particular type -
