1. I have the BH500 and the 410 - excellent value altho doesn't get gigged as my Bassman always does the job best. I got it as a back up and have used it in earnest in rehearsal - couldn't really fault it - plenty of power and bottom end. Not sure why these haven't taken off in the way the 450 and 750 have The 410 cab pairs up sweetly with the Bassman. Bought from Mark at Bass Direct.
2. looks like it's sold anyways up
3. Hey I could be up for this - is there any neck dive, especially with the new tuners? Aside from the tuners, is it all stock? Plus do you still have the original tuners? What sort of life is there in the frets? Ta
4. Congratulations Sam - always good to read good news stories - shame when guys post on ehre about quitting bands or music, but seems you're proof there's always a way back - Make mine a double G&T
5. Liking this - any Ibby opinions on the price? Okay it's a different model, but I got my Ibanez Roadster RS800 (also made in 1980) for £180 odd on e-bay, was I just lucky or is this one here overpriced? 6. *applause*
7. these are great basses - can't believe it's still here at this price. BUMP for chrissakes!
8. after the worrying, this played and sounded fantastic - in combination with my 1980 Ibby Roadster with both channel 1 and 2 patched together, setting at 8.5 master vol, mids on both channels on 8, bass at 6, trebs at 6, through a TC 4x10 it produced a really sweetly driven JJ/Stranglers type sound that made playing a pleasure. Happy.
9.
Good evening, jigster... You're carrying enough wattage. You have enough for playing outdoors (more especially as there's a FOH PA...). Is the guitar impinging on your frequency band, though..?
Hi Dad, I think there's always a possibility of that but i sort of eq for as much seperation as possible - the Bassman sounds punchy and woody and clear as a peach with the mids up nice and high - on both channels by the way, connected via a patch cable - so I think we're some way to dealing with it
10. Yes Castle, that's my inarticulate drift. Burrito, yes it is loud, but it's all relative, as we're a very loud band (or the guitarist is!!) and i guess i'm cautious of not carrying enough wattage
11. sure, for onstage sound do you mean? but as there's a band PA installed, I guess my question is would the basic wattage provide enough power though the Line Out and back through the pa to project amongst the mix?
12. I have never used my Fender Bassman 135 in anger, so to speak, but contemplating using at an upcoming gig. It projects well in rehearsal through a 4x10 cab, but interested how people think its wattage will project in a small club atmos - guessing 100-200 capacity type place - it has Line Out facility, but no DI. Any thoughts welcome.

Linus Thanks for your info. That all sounds depressing as hell and well done for getting out of there. On that info, we shan't be pursuing anything.
