A PJ configuration? I've just got hold of one like this and I notice the J pick up adds a really nice 'honk' growl blended into the deeper tones of the P pick up

Bought Andy's 83 Squier - great communications, well packed and delivered within a couple of days. Bass looks sweet and Andy is a great guy to deal with.

My son's CV Jazz seems to have died outright - it's still uner warranty, so still new, bought in March '11 - but no output whatsoever through two different amps. Any thoughts on how the p'ups could just die like that??

i would definitely be interested to try one, it's not really having a pop at the bass, just curious as to the sudden movement of them on the forum i also like the look of them!

well i don't know because I haven't played one, but I wonder if it sometimes is the plug and play syndrome. A P or a J bass (and other similars) you know pretty much what it is, but is there too much tonal choice on a Al that it bewilders? Felt that a little with the G&L L2000s I've had - something like 18 options - I forget how many with the Big Al -
