4. Great post! Good on you for giving up your time.
5. Ah ok, thats great. Thanks!
6. The Tech 21 doesn't have a DI though does it? Rhys, I played through my dads Roland cube, and that sounded great. Would be ideal, but I'd prefer not to mic
7. So I play guitar in a acoustic duo. Recently been thinking about using electric guitar for a few numbers. Doesn't need to be loud, as I would like to DI from it into our PA. I know I could mic it, but wanted to see what small amps have a DI? Any recommendations? Or any advice? Thanks in advance
8. Glad to have helped
9.
Sadly they are no longer in Production. Easily the best amp I have had the pleasure of using and as cheap as chips (€299)
Agreed. Been trying to get a second as back up for quite some time
10. Ahhh ok. It definitely had a festive feel Not up on my carols, i'll work on that
11. Livio just bought my Puma 900 off me. Payment was prompt. Communication was great. Very smooth transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to make a deal with him again. Cheers Livio
12.
Here's a little bit of loop-based festive fun I recorded yesterday. Hope you all enjoy the holidays and get some awesome bass stuff!
Nice. Enjoyed that. Nice textures. Did it purposely have an element of "walking in the air?
13.
Mostly for the post count...
That's how people get such high counts!!? I've been a forum user for years and have nowhere near the count some have. I'll have to prepare generic response to all the threads that keep repeating so i can paste it in and get my "score" up
14. The bass is the glue. No glue or the wrong glue, it all falls apart
15. What is the brown bass front right? Is it a Bacchus? Lovely!
A snapshot from earlier in the year
16. So many variables in that test i would gues it would've been hard to truly keep track what everything was doing in comparison to each other! Whatever you end up deciding though, you have some top quality equipment there. Spend a little time with any of those set ups and i'm sure you can get the sound you're looking for. Nice problem to have though eh?
17. I asked to see it to check it would be suitable I've been told never to doubt Mrs K again!
18.
Thanks all..... happy xmas to me... will buy a couple.
Dont mention it
19.
Maybe a stupid question, but, does it stand up on it`s own when empty? I have a Warwick bag, and it is so flimsy and difficult to put a bass in compared to the other case I have.
Not something i've noticed, but i'll have a look at it when i get home. It certainly isn'y flimsy though.
I have that very same case for my Yammy bass and echo exactly the same words. Very good value for money and plenty of padding. Much better than some four times the place.
Yeh i agree
20. The wife bought a few other things too. So not sure on the overall cost of shipping
21. Gents, it's amazing. I couldn't believe it when she told me how much it was
22. I don't usually shout about something i have just bought/got, but thought this was worth mentioning. I recently asked for a gig bag for Christmas off the other half. She went ahead and ordered me one, without telling me which one, or that she was even going to do it. She told me she ordered me a "cheap one from that Thomas shop" . She meant Thomann. Oh well. It is what it is, i thought. Well the case arrived on Saturday. (About 3 days after ordering), and i have to say, it's amazing! £23 and its far superior to anything i've used before. It's this one: http://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_premium_gigbag_e_bass_br.htm The material feels of a real high quality. The padding is really thick. The general construction is top notch. It has a great neck support built into it. All for £23!! I'm currently enjoying my humble pie. If you're looking for a good gig bag at any price range, you could do far worse.
23. Love the white pickups on the P. Big fan of that bass on the whole! Congrats
24. Im not a member of the academy, but i've liked everything i've seen that Scott has produced. Not necessarily useful to me all the time, but some of the stuff has been. Seems like a really decent bloke too! If i see one of his videos up on YouTube that i havent seen before, i'll usually check it out
