1.
It's been a while, but in my covers band days I seem to remember that 'Everybody needs Somebody' generally got people moving;
Yeh that works well. As does "Shake Your Tailfeather"
2. Yeh Uptown Funk always works for us too
3. Think that new back panel will look great!! Might be tempting to change the front one after seeing it.....
4. Might give "Groove is in the heart" a try
5. Haha brilliant! Any recordings of this?? Would love to hear it
6. Is there a song in your set, that no matter what, gets the best reaction and/or fills the dance floor up? If i had to name one song that never fails to get people up and dancing it's "Higher and Higher".
7. eye for an eye.....
8. Where are you based? Some helpful Basschatters might be willing to let you try some of their gear before spending any money...
There should be some kind of monitor out on the Line 6 interface - use that for your speakers, not the headphone input/output.
Cheers, i'll check that out tonight
10.
OK so what sort of small prize would encourage people to enter / vote? clip tuner maybe? set of feeler gauges or similar? Candlelit dinner for two with me at a romantic retreat of your choosing?
Think you're asking in the wrong forum as we are the people who give our noodles away for free

I use a Line 6 guitar port and podfarm. Works great for me. Although i am having trouble connecting speakers, i have a feeling that's because my headphone port is damaged.
12. I can play drums. Have played drums in one band. But wouldn't call myself a drummer if i'm being brutally honest. Let's just say i can get by. Stick to simple to start with with. Simple and slow. Stick with a metronome too. Sounds obvious, but as a bass player, good timing and being "tight" are what we all look for in a drummer. Whether we are aware of it or not. Sure someone will be along soon who is more advanced than I, with better tips..... Douglas?
13. I'm by no means and expert in recording, but i couldn't tell the difference. Edit: I actually thought that track 2 sounded tighter, not warmer as mentioned above. But the difference so negligible i didn't think it worth mentioning. Funny how we hear things different isn't it?.
14. Giving someone a song or two to learn for next practice. Turns up at next practice and asks "How do you play that?" I didn't learn it so i could teach you!!!!
15. Not sure how i missed this first time round. Looks great. LOVE the black hardware Had a Shuker Jazz before, and it was a lovely bass. Wish i could have had that as a Precision!!
16. 0 in my main band 3 in my acoustic duo (All from the top line. Is that worse?! ) I have played 3 others in different bands over the 15 or so years i've been gigging Edit to say Dakota should definitely be on there. Strong argument for "Zombie" to be included too
17.
OK I've got a good feeling about this months noodles... lets see if we can hit the lofty heights of 20 entries
Shall we enter more than once??
18. Yup that's it. Can imagine the look on the rest of the bands face if i just sat down with a pint whilst the rest were packing away the P.A and lights etc. So in the end, i'm left carrying the guitarists 400w Peavey tube amp and 4 X 12 cab anyway!!
19.
Would be a dream to just turn up like that, fabulous
I used to agree. But ive found that even though i'm a "one trip" with my set up now, i still end up doing multiple trips to help everyone else. So am i really saving anything??? Nice looking rig though Discreet. Glad it's working out for you
20. If you're not worried about weight its got to be Peavey for me too
21. Congrats Subsonic Simpleton!!
22. Awwwww did I miss a few?! Tried my best too
23.
What a beautiful bass! I don't usually like singlecuts, but that's a real looker, maybe the nicest SC I've seen. Superb craftsmanship & design from someone who doesn't style himself a pro builder too - might have to have a chat with Andy about a twin-neck headless fretted/fretless one of these days... Jon.
Thanks. I reckon Andy will be up for that challenge too
24.
Cheers for that, now I can't view it on my Kindle Fire!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6Hen48nGQk&feature=youtu.be Theres the link
