  8. I tried a Metro at the Bass Gallery in Camden and thought it was ace actually.....having said that it was only in a shop...at a gig is a whole other kettle of balls. I tried a US Sad at a gig and thought it was very very average! Si

I just hope Tony Levin doesn't find out I read a borrowed copy of Beyond The Bass-Clef I never got on with my stacker I have to say, If I'd kept it, I would have taken it back to Vol/Vol/Tone....but then I sold it!   11. Not to be extra cynical....but does anyway care about the name of a covers band? lol They're all awful....so pick anything and run with it Si (I can say all this because I'm in a very busy covers band with a very generic name....it makes no difference)

  15. Yeah I'm happy that it is what it is! No dot at the 21st.....Serial number checks out around 1980/81 (won't remove the neck until I'm there or after purchase). Yeah the strings I use currently (Newtone) go on my two Jazz Bass thru-bodies no problems. We'll see...going to see it asap Si
