He's also the guitar/amp tech at Titan Studios Watford too I think. Pretty sure he serviced my amp.
Yeah, him and Steve Sears were in Cry For Silence together. Si

I've got a Nano POG which is great for this, and whilst I'm happy with that, I've just got a Line6 M5, and the pitch glide on that thing is amazing. Up and down pitches sound fantastic. Si

Yup, love mine! I even ordered another PES40 strap for my Shuker, amazing straps! Si

Trying to think what I'd change about my Jake (which would cause me to order another), and I really can't think of anything. Perhaps I'd specify a Hipshot bridge instead of the stock one, but it's not a big deal, certainly not worth a new build lol. In fact i wonder how the screw spacing of the stock bridge compares to Hipshot replacements?! Awesome bass Si

Yup. i'm in for the Jaco viewing! I knew if I waited, I'd get to sit in a room full of other bassists and watch it lol Si
Is your humbucker a Haussell too, Si..?
Yes I'm going to lower it a tiny bit, like you said, and wire in the push/pull for single coil (as mine was hardwired to hb), will help in higher gain settings.
Loving the bass guys, but my intonation is off due to it being inside a van. It's one of the Hipshot A style bridges and I can't seem to find a way of changing the intonation? Anyone know how to do this?
Just a screw at the back beside each ball-end isn't it? Si

You want to get yourself some right-angle power cables Twigman Si

I would echo this, the Haeussel Precision pickup in mine is warm and vintagy, very much like my '71 Precision. The Humbucker is hotttttt, but sounds brilliant. Si

Thought I'd have a little experiment with my utility/covers board: New chain is: Bass -> DIY true bypass switch -> Line6 M5 -> DIY Wooly Mammoth -> MXR Bass Envelope Filter -> Boss OC-2 -> back out via TB switch. All powered by a Diago Power Station Si
Yes, that's me and my Jake. Looks a little more orangy under those lights, but yes wonderful colour and bass! Si

Fender USA Marcus Miller 5 - Natural finish, Badass Bridge, OHSC. SOLD

Hi all, Took this bass in as part of a trade, and whilst it sounds lovely, currently it's not for me. I've rehosted the photos from the original owner below (if that's not ok with him, please do let me know and I'll take them down). As per the title, this should not be confused with the Japanese version, this is the Fender USA version of Marcus' signaure bass. It comes with a BadAss Bridge, although the original bridge is also included. At some time, due to a fault, the G string tuner has been replaced with an official Hipshot tuner. These look exactly the same as Fender licenced the design for a while, the only visible different being that the replacement is branded 'Hipshot'. The bass is in generally good condition, however it has clearly been gigged a lot (which is what you do with a great bass right). As such, there is some wear. Nothing bad at all, just some dinks and surface impacts here and there. Nice action, plays lovely. There is a control knob missing in these photos, this is now back on the bass. Original G&G 'vintage' Fender hardcase included with all the hangtags/manuals etc (pictured). Essentially I'm looking to recover what it owes me, SOLD, preferable as a cash sale. However I will consider part ex's upto half the price. Specifically I am quite interested in a Peavey T-40 or a Squire Vintage Modified P5 (White). I could also be potentially tempted with an Aguilar TH-500. MORE PHOTOS: http://postimg.org/gallery/300op8zei/ Many thanks Si
Out of interest Si, what pickups and pickup config have you got in that beauty? Also what colour is that? Cheers mate!
They're Haussel pickups, a Humbucker in the bridge & obviously a Precision. Controls are just V/V/T 33" scale Chambered body (bass weights 7.3lbs, no neck dive) - upcost Shoreline gold body & matching headstock. - upcost Hipshot 1/2 Ultralite tuners - upcost It's a beauty! Handbuilt, under £900 with a free bag and strap, both excellent. Si
Hi all , I know a bit Adrian , he and I are chatting often as we work together. I can safely say he is so passionate about his company and his Job... he will NEVER sell to anybody. There's actually 17 people working and living thanks to his basses. They have experienced their best year so far in 2015 by building more than 500 Basses and something like 368 custom O_O ....
