  1. That doesn’t sound good bud! Really there should be some strong ‘service recovery’ when things mess up in any service sector business. Often if problems are handled well the customer will not lose faith at all.
  2. Always had great service and dealings with Mark at Bass Direct, some peoples mustard is another’s mayonnaise 😂Or something?
  3. I wish I had the readies for this one ! Epic
  4. Nice colour particularly with the black scratch plate!
  5. I have Dunlop flats on my smoothie! Awesome low tension vintage thump but as mentioned still holding down some slap !
  6. What a lineup!
  7. Yeah prices on these (like a lot of things) has gone crazy. Last year I picked up some sets from Bass Direct for less than £40. Still my favourite strings, can’t afford to change them now anyway !
  8. Sounds like a plan just sent you a PM
  9. My Song 7.m4a Bernadette done badly ! P pickup with tone on 25%
  10. My Song 6.m4a Slap bass on the P pickup sample
  11. More demos available upon request 😎👍
  12. I haven’t bumped this recently but tha cash would be good! Might consider a trade for Jazz type bass (v5/v7) or the right cab (markbass?)
  13. I used my Warwick Rock power block, I had the 9v version so it worked well. I’d use the ebs 9v power supply which came with it when I had many pedals on the board as it’s quite a big power drain
  14. Recently sold my Valvedrive, an excellent bit of kit much like all EBS pedals I’ve tried. I used it just to add some valve/tube warmth and was excellent for that. I don’t really use overdrive so I can’t comment on that and I had the eq flat (but not flat as mentioned above 👆😂😂) whenever I used it. I did a session with it where we we going for an Amy Winehouse- Valerie sort of tone and it nailed it along with some eq’in
  15. Yes it has an A and B channel. You can set separate eq’s to each channel and save them. This means you could have separate instruments input for A/B and separate amps if you really wanted ! You could also run the output from channel A to the input of channel B so you have tonnes of options. I used to run my pre-amp after channel A and then output the pre-amp to channel B, this would giving eq options before and after the pre-amp stage. Helpful?
  16. Wowzers awesome lokkkng vintage, and light too !
  17. Don’t crash the band van in to the venue you just finished playing at. In fact don’t offer to drive the band van, ever.
