I'm a big fan of Red Sparowes. For me the second album, Every Red Heart Shines Toward the Red Sun, is much better than the first. "The Great Leap Forward Poured Down Upon Us One Day Like a Mighty Storm, Suddenly and Furiously Blinding Our Senses." and "We Stood Transfixed in Blank Devotion as Our Leader Spoke to Us, Looking Down On Our Mute Faces With a Great, Raging, and Unseeing Eye" are particularly good. They're pretty awesome live too.

There was a longish list of issues though: Buggered frets, hence defretting electrics were screwed heads came off 2 of the screws for the machineheads chunks knocked out the edge of the fretboard so I wasn't too worried about defretting it myself.

Hello, I'm in Newport, I think we're still in Wales...

I've started using nice 4" wide thick leather straps. Spreads the weight and stops slippage. The last one was an emergency purchase from the Bass Cellar and was £25, so they're probably much cheaper elsewhere.
