1. Many thanks folks really appreciate your help as does Anton. Don't think he's looking forward to selling this for the lady as it's becoming clear it's desirable kit BUT there will be effort required to prove it's provenance and of course to deliver to interested parties. He now knows what he needs to do, rather him then me, it's not a 112 and PUMA head to courier is it Thanks again everybody, cheers, Karl.
2. Further PM's replied, many thanks folks. It's probably the best sounding P I've ever had. I'm not putting it up on FEEBay as I would have to put it out at pushing £1200 to cover their fees. So, I guess I'm not in that much of a hurry to sell. Thanks again, Karl.
3. All pm's replied thanks. On hold, cheers, Karl.
4. Thanks for that Muzz, great review , very tempting. And I still have your Streamliner

Chaps, I put a post up on this section asking for help to indentify a Fender Bassman 100 and cab. It would be great if you could contribute any thoughts, as you all seem to know a lot more than I ever will.
6. That's really kind Francis, many thanks for that. I'll pass it on. And you Dad! Yes, you know who you are , very kind fella.
7. I've asked the mods if this is ok. The background. A friend lost a friend a little while back. The widow asked my friend to deal with his gear. My friend asked me for advice, I've had a look and there seems to be a myriad of Fender Bassman. PLEASE NOTE, I will not be involved in ANY part of this sale, just going to help him with research. Or hopefully you guys will So, 1. Any idea of the model/specs 2. I would be grateful for any idea of a sensible price for him to put it out at. PLEASE ONLY DO THIS BY PM (so I don't get a mod spank ) I have no interest in buying this stuff myself, my spine hurts looking at the labels Hope you can help Fender Valve Experts, cheers, Karl
8.
OK - I'll go for that.
You beat discreet to it then Jack
9. Muzz, I'm sure I noted somewhere that you've done a review on your Magellan. Buggered if I can find it any link fella?
10. Not a deal, but Dunc, being the altruistic leg end that he is, very kindly gave me the heads up on a bit of kit I was lusting for, even though he was selling something similar! Top guy, salt of the earth Basschatter! Cheers mate.
11. As per title. Weight 40lbs (yes a 2 x 12 that only weighs 40lbs) 30 x 19.5 x 13.5 102 dB 4 ohms For use with amps from 150 W TO 1200 W. Reason for sale, got the Gen3. This cab, new, would have cost £760 + £50 vintage cloth +£60 delivery + £45 Roqsolid cover, total = £915. Current model, delivered with this lot would be around £955, plus a wait. Spec of this Gen 2 I'm selling http://barefacedbass...uper-twelve.htm Excellent condition. The side handles have been replaced simply because they look better and I don't use them. The top handle, well, I wanted to get as much life out of it as possible before I replaced it. Cos I'm tight. So, it's not been updated, but the spare top handle is included. Sale only please. I will reluctantly courier, mainland UK only, but it will be an extra £40 including insurance. I'm happy to meet up, no charge, between Penrith, Leeds, or just north of Brum. Sorry, I think £500 is an excellent price so please, no offers. Any trial in Wigan, your amp/bass or mine, feedback link at bottom of this post. Many thanks for looking, cheers, Karl. 14. That's excellent info Markolinni, many thanks for that cheers, Karl.
15. Back up for sale. This was withdrawn for a week and a half due to electical issues. Luthier has given it a clean bill of health, and me a serious attack of sarcasm. I take two basses to each gig. The spare is sat on a stand, with lead attached. So any issues, one jack plug out of amp input, another jack plug straight in. Changing basses takes less than 10 seconds. On the night in question, my P went horribly scratchy and died. I instantly changed basses. EXCEPT IT WASN'T THE BLOODY P THAT DIED, it was the lead I was using on the P. Even the Mrs is smirking. Anyway, back up for sale. As you were
16.
Marl??
Yes. What is the matter with you boy, it's the Old Wiganish version of Mark, before it was bastardised by them Norman conqueror geezers. Does thar nay nowt lad
17. Just asking really. I had a splendid back up rig which I sold. Stupidly Streamliner 600 through two GB Focus 1 x 12's. It was a terrific rig and weighed nowt. Few months after selling it, I got to thinking Fender bought/shut GB, wonder if their 1 x 12 Rumbles are based on them, and how do they compare. Anybody been lucky enough to have both?
18. Excellent review Marl. I love my rig so won't be doing anything about it. Tonight
19. Regretably Tim, as this stands, it will not sell. YOU MUST OFFER CAKE!!! Biscuits are only acceptable up to £1k Top bloke peeps, and what a bass! Good luck fella.
