1. I'm in trouble. I've downloaded a pic of the pink Jazz and it's now my wallpaper
2. Appears they are available to pre order, estimated delivery mid/late July.
3.
I bet there are more than a few people thinking THAT today.
Couldn't possibly think to what you refer
4.
Rubbish! Where's the brass bridge earthing strip? The headstock is too pale, too. Seriously though, if it's the Jazz equivalent of my RW P Bass then Fender are onto a winner. I think I'd rather have the fiesta red/tort/rosewood VVT version though - just to match my P.
Nice to see you are finally out of bed. You can go home now . Be VERY careful what you wish for Edit, damn, missed it. IF YOUR P's those colours . As you were.
5.
Oof
Oh bollocks, suddenly my Adam Clayton Jazz looks like it's going to be making an appearance in the basses for sale
6. Is this the one that I missed on FEEBay last week?
7. Still no reply from Status. Strings ordered 2.40pm yesterday from Strings Direct. Arrived with post 9.25 this morning. Superb service.
8. Cheers Mick. I generally tend to order or ask for info from home on an evening as that is convenient for me. 4 days without reply (not for the 1st time sadly) isn't great. If they offer internet ordering, they should be backing it up really. The problems have been on and off for a year now so really I'm looking for a more reliable service. Many thanks though, cheers, Karl.
9. Excellent Mr. Funk, many thanks
10. I love Status Premium Roundwounds, but , over the last year or so, availability has not been great. I emailed couple of days back about availability of 40 - 100's, no reply. One time last year, I ordered some, paid, and it was 6 weeks before I got them. I need something more reliable, so anybody used them , then switched to something of similar "feel" and tension? Cheers, Karl.
11. He's here ^^^^^^^^^ Moving swiftly on............ I'm thinking it's a superb donor for a one (chrome plated) pick up, Surf Green Tbird alike. So, question I should have asked (as others will like to know) courier possible?
12.
OMG is Jim a Kim now lol
Everyone's a comedian
13. Hiya Jim, some of us might like to know Bolt on neck? Scale length? Weight? Where are you? Colour me interested as could be a great donor body
I know you said that you had fun but frankly, I'm shocked.
Hmmm, didn't think that one through did I
15. Great review Mark and superb pictures. Glad you are liking the bass. A laugh a minute as ever dealing with you. It will certainly be put to better use in your hands rather than mine. Cheers bud, enjoy
16.
Nooooo! Surely not Karl?
Oh yes. Finally.

As ever a couple of days back and forth laughter with Mad Malkie MacMad of Madville. The sale was agreed immediately and decisively, the couple of days was just fun All I can really say is dealing with Mark is just an absolute pleasure. He makes it all so easy, enjoyable and fun. Fully recommended by Quasi and The Mojo's. Hope your anal tract is back to normal fella
18. Some folk might like to know; Is a case included? Would you courier at buyers expense? What does it weigh? Nice bass, GLWTS
19. He was asked if by a friend if he fancied giving over £200 plus his AV57RI for the pair of them. He decided to do that with the intent of sell one, keep one. That went well As it turns out he is stupidly in love with his Fender Adam Clayton Jazz, plus FSR P/J and 4003s, so the sale of both of these made sense . The Wigan Gargoyle is now sold out! Hope both you guys enjoy these very nice workhorse basses.
20. All further pm's replied thanks. On hold for a legendary gear tart of this parish who may even have real cash money stuff
21. Chris has just bought a bass off me, ably assisted by dad Steve. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with both of them. Decisive, great comms, just made it a really easy deal. Fully recommended by the Wigan Gargoyle, deal with confidence. Very good luck tomorrow Chris cheers, Karl.
22. Graeme is yet another amazing ambassador for this wonderful forum. He has just bought a bass from me. Think he'd paid before I said yes Extremely easy deal, great comms and an easy going pleasure throughout. Fully recommended, don't hesitate. Thanks for everything Graeme, I hope you really enjoy that wonderful bass, cheers, Karl.
23. Thank you chaps I'm SOOOO glad I put a link to specs in post #1 Then re-iterated it in post #12. PAY ATTENTION
24. In my humble opinion, these are the very best of the varying 50's style basses. Don't know about CS but they would need to be very special to be better than one of these. I've had a couple and they have both been excellent but I just really don't get on with 1.75 " nuts. Having said that, these are quite shallow back to front so for me have been the easiest of the full fat nut for me to play. Usually very light with superb pick up. These Ash, White Blonde/maple are just the best looking GLWTS, great basses.
25.
That's good. It's the wrong colour anyway.

Wrong colour for metal!

Wrong colour for wood, too.
Are we finished ladies?
