1. Hi people, I have for sale the following... EBS MicroBass II - Highly regarded all singing, all dancing Pre-Amp/DI/Overdrive/Tube Sim/Effects Loop/A-B box and a million more things beside. Looks pristine as new, however the small -10db switch on the side works, but does not stay in, so if you wanted to use this you would need to add a bit of tape to hold it down. It's a minor point, but worth mentioning! These things are very highly regarded, a quick google search will tell you all you need to know. Boxed complete with manuals etc - SOLD PENDING Will consider trades and part-ex towards a decent compression pedal (eg. EBS Multicomp) Or decent envelope filter (with a large filter sweep, I have a discumbobulator for the gentle wet sound) Boss PH-3 Phase Shifter - TRADED EHX Bass Blogger XO - TRADED Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus - TRADED Boss BF-2B Bass Flanger - SOLD EHX Bass MicroSynth XO - SOLD Happy to accept paypal payment (as long as you cover the fee's), bank transfer or cash on collection. Will post 1st class and cover the cost myself, if you want special delivery etc it's at your cost.
2. I have read this thread the while way through... And it was a read and a half! :-) I agree with about 50%, and read the rest as peoples frustration. None of the comments read here put me off. I currenty play MarkBass, who have a great reputation. I am however on my 3rd MarkBass Amp head due to the last 2 dying on me! I still use them though. In the very near future I will be the owner of the 1st T'Double Midget cab, I'm excited about recieiving it and not at all put off by others views and experiences. Shep
3. Afraid not mate. Selling the cab purely to go lightweight as previously discussed. The new cab has been purchased so cabs are off the trade list! :-) Shep
4. I followed this on eBay for some time (or an absolutely identical one!), but thought it had sold before I had the money! Now I don't have the money again... Go figure!
5.
Is it still available? Call me 07882442423 my name is michael
PM sent... I replied to a similar add once before and was charged £10 for the call... :-)
cheers, its lovely. but my band are weak. they'd love a nice bit of markbass. ahh id offer you the pedals if i didnt need them.. im looking to trade for another distortion though if you have one?
No worries dude. I may have a EHX Bass Blogger coming up but am undecided at the mo. Will let you know! Shep
6.
A lo, as cool as TVR cars are, they will continue to sap your money through petrol costs and expensive servicing and repairs! Good thing they look awesome then!
I can't say I have had much experience with a TVR... but I would certainly say the Thumb would of been a more reliable purchase :-)
7. Still love this bass Mike. Very nice. Worth checking your link to the review on the first page though... Goes to elsewhere Shep
8. No interest in my MarkBass 6x10 at all do you? Have a bit of Ampeg GAS...
9. I think cost is very different to worth. Whatever it cost you is a value you were happy to pay, what it's worth is a matter of opinion. It's a nice bass and the Stingray looks great in that finish. If you want one like that it's cheaper than a new one. Everyones happy. If it doesn't seem 'worth' the asking price to you... Leave the poor chap to sell his Stingray to people who do want it :-)
10. I'd love that bass driver... Don't fancy throwing £550 quid on top and trading for my MarkBass... ? No? Thought not... No harm in asking though! Bump!
11.
http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=36263
+1 for Chris. Top bloke and well worth contacting!
12. Right chaps... Bump up and I'm knocking £25 off to subsidise the fact this is collection only. Consider it £25 towards your petrol. Shep
13. I'd love to keep this on the midlands... Bit seems all of us with high end gear are struggling to sell :-( this deserves to go a good home! Gorgeous bass
14. I usually don't like the Pedulla shape... Nor do I like basses with any sort of red finish... Until now. Something about it just 'works'... Very very nice bass!
15.
I want this, but my money has been swallowed by a TVR. :-(
You had to pick between TVR and a Bass, and you chose the TVR... Call yourself a Bass player!? Tut ;-)
16.
Having just failed to sell two of my basses on ebay, I'm tempted to say that the time of year was probably a factor in you not selling your cab! Had I sold my basses I might have been back onto you for the 106HF!! Still, I though my offer was fair....
Hey dude, sucks about the basses! Your offer was certainly of interest, but I couldn't see me making the money on the 5 string. You will no doubt prove me wrong and sell it for a bucket load in the new year! ;-) Cheers for the interest though!
17. This bass rules and Jazz is the man! Buy this bass... I still want it as well :-(
18. Warwick Thumb BO 5, AND my MarkBass 106HF 6 x 10 cab...? Worth an offer at least... Beautiful bass!
19.
id love this, but i have no money and my whole rig is barely worth what you're asking. Just cant afford it... shame.
I'd take the SYB and ODB as a small down payment :-) Your ABM is not to be scoffed at though bud. Nice gear!
20.
My offer still stands...
Mine too
21.
i've always been anti warwick's - but something is stirring in me lately and I keep looking at every warwick post that comes up on here - they look soooo well made and like they will just ooze tone
And tone they have! Each model really does have it's own characteristics... The thumb has a great low-mid growl and sounds very very punchy. A Thumb through a Ampeg SVT seems to of come a modern rock classic. The thumb to me is the most comfy of the range to play an te curved body shape hugs my not too large stomach nicely ;-) Cheers mcgraham... Kind words go a long way :-) *Quick update... A decent quality padded stagg gigbag is now included as of this morning rather than a £10 cheapy. Better protection and a better deal for the buyer. The case is brand spanking new! Shep*
