1. I assume you lost interest in discussing our trade...?!
2.
if only my bass would sell i'd have this in a heartbeat
Better hurry up then :-)
3. Bump for pics added to first post. Apologies it took so long! Will be off to eBay in the next few days if there are no takers!
4. SOLD Hi people, I am tentatively selling my MarkBass SA450. The circumstances of this sale have hanged somewhat, and while I am able to keep it open for sale slightly longer, it is purely to pay for something else, as such if it takes too long to sell I may miss the chance to buy what I'm after and withdraw the amp. This is by far the best amp head I have ever used, huge amount of power, sounds like it shoots way above it's stated power ratings, good clean tone and a very usable EQ. A few stats for you... GAIN: -80 dB to +25 dB range EQUALIZATION LOW: center frequency: 40 Hz; level ±16 dB LOW-MID: semi-parametric: frequency 100-800 Hz, level ±16 dB HIGH-MID: semi-parametric: frequency 700 Hz-6 kHz, level ±16 dB HIGH: 10 kHz shelf; level ±16 dB VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter): center frequency 380 Hz (cut) VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator):250 Hz-20 kHz cut OUTPUTS EFFECT SEND: unbalanced, max. voltage 12 Vpp (pre-EQ) TUNER OUT: unbalanced, max. voltage 2 Vpp LINE OUT: balanced XLR, max. voltage 25 Vpp SPEAKER OUT: speakon, 1/4" This is an uber lightweight head with advanced EQ next to that of the Little Marks which seem to be the leading line. I do not have any rack ears for this head but beleive these can be purchased separately from MarkBass (don't quote me on it). It stands on rubber feet as a free standing amp head though. I am not keen to ship, bit will do so if you arrange the courier collection and once it's left my hands it's your responsibilty. Collection is welcomed in Nottingham and anyone wanting to try it is also welcome. Please bear in mind though that if this does not sell in a couple of days then it will be withdrawn. Here it is on top of my old cab... And a couple just taken... SOLD. That's a substantial saving on a top end bit of kit.
5.
Don't suppose you're interested in anything here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=72271 Could add a small amount of cash if necessary. I'm keen to check out some EBS stuff.
Hi AJ, I 'might' be interested in the Voodoo Labs plus cash... Would of had the octron as well (see post #2 on your thread!), dammit! If you have any other pedals your toying with parting with drop me PM EBS stuff is damn good, I've been sold on it recently!

7. Cheers Floyd... Your not wrong, I'm just not going to get the use out of it. Best tube style overdrive I have used myself though! Am open to trade offers on this...
8. Picked up a Schecter Studio 6 from David. As described, top bloke to deal with an kindly offered to deliver as I was local. Can't ask for anymore! Cheers mate
9. I have a MarkBass SA450, not tiny in size but yes it's light in weight. To be honest I woul pick it in sound and tone over most it's opposition putting weight aside. It sounds fantastic. Weight is a bonus, but I'd still use it. Only 'heavy' head I'd swap it for now is an EBS Fafner or TD650. Markbass cabs are fantastic as well to be honest. I was a 6x10 owner and it sounded a lot cleaner than my ampeg 8x10. I consider Markbass to be all round great. And if I end up with the move to an EBS head I'm sure I will miss part of the SA450 tone.
10.
Without getting all Health 'n' Safety obsessive about it though - using a chainsaw without eye, hand and toe protection is fecking stupid!
The bes bit is where he's trying to set the amp EQ... Balancing it on his knee... And better still has his scarf hanging about an inch from the chain... Would of been a more fun video if he'd of taken his head off I think...
11. Really want to get my hands on the EBS Multicomp that is up for sale here. As such I will take £170 posted for this as long as that pedal is still available... That's £80 off retail for a seriously tip end bit of kit! Consider trades still on a Multicomp and/or a good envelope filter ad long as it has a large filter sweep.
12. Hi mate, No interest in an EBS Microbass II in trade for your Multicomp and Octabass have you? I'm after both... Cheers Shep
13. Tom bought some 5 string sets off me, communicated and paid promptly. Can't ask for more! Royal Fail then lost them... but he was really cool about waiting for me to sort out a trace and a refund etc... Top bloke Shep
14.
I arranged to buy a couple of sets of strings from Shep which Royal Mail duly lost, he very conscientiously followed up the sale and when it looked like the strings were well and truly lost no questions asked he refunded my payment. Very decent fella and well worth dealing with.
Thanks mate, really appreciate that... And I'm sorry they never turned up. It isn't the first package I've had go missing over Christmas either. All the best.
15. Midget from what I hear... Or EBS Neo 112... tried it, liked it very much!
16. Want the Octron and the Superfuzz! Need to shift my Mirobass II!! Bump for a great guy to deal with. Buy with confidence guys and gals!

18. Sorry Johna... It was an offer I couldn't refuse!
19. Sorry to thread hi-jack... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ARIA-PRO-II-AVANTE-6...3#ht_1057wt_948 I don't know a huge amount about the Aria range... I have seen pictures of the Steve Bailey custom ones before, and was sure that the Aria text on the head stock was vertical, written under the strings, with his signature under it, rather than horizontal and small like it is. I know it's minor, but wondered if maybe this is a regualr Avante model rather than the signature (is there such a thing). Lookin at price it seems a bit high for a bass that retailled around that price new... But I love the look of it. Shep
20. Bass Blogger and Phase Shifter have gone. Just the Microbass left, £190 or best offer. Considering trades on Octave and Volume pedals. Also will use as part payment towards a 5 fretless or 6

22. Oh yeah... Cack! Lol. It's new years day... Give me a break... I did say I'd 'consider'... I have and changed my mind! Lol... Will drop you a PM
23. Hi Mate, I'd be interested, but can't put any money forward... Plus I'd end up paying to get the LED fixed as it would drive me insane as it is. I'd consider a straight trade but that'd be it. Shep
24. A fellow Basschatter, be it a new member came and played her today. Seems he was impressed. And it's going to a good home it seems... Mind you, compared to shifting my MarkBass cab, any sale is a quick one!
