1. It does it everywhere in the house. Tried another amp and that has no buzz. Somewhere between leaving the house yesterday and coming back today it has developed it.
2. Hi folks, Yesterday my amp ran silent. It went out to the studio with me yesterday and back last night. Having plugged it in this morning where it usually sits at home, same power socket, same cab, cables everything it has a low level electrical mains hum style noise through the speakers. The odd thing about this, is that the hum gets quieter the higher you turn up the amp volume, being loudest when the amp volume is at zero or the amp is on standby, then completely vanishing if the volume is turned to max. Ive tried different speaker leads, power sockets, a different cab… etc etc etc Any ideas?
3.
Any news, this is still slow for me, thanks
Hiya bud, Sorry for the late reply... Long day! Admins report nothing going on and we can't track anything down that could be causing it. I keep an eye on it over the next day or two though...
4.
But you forgot to change it in the quote in your post.
Fail!
5.
D'oh! I'm being thick here! You mean 50 posts & you can post in that thread? I read it as you could only post 50 times in that section I'm such a phallus
3,129
6.
So if you join the forum but don't post but just read, then decide to use the ebay links the computers going to say "No". Doesn't seem right to me. There are people I'm sure that just aren't "Chatty Man". Still your forum your rules.
The links will still work... Everyone can link and read. What has been proposed is that member who I've made less than 50 posts are unable to post a thread in the eBay forum. This is to avoid the larger number of people that join the forum, post a link to thier eBay sale and then vanish never to be seen again - or at least until they have something else to sell. 50 posts on Basschat is easily achieved and even the casual basschatter will have that many post after browsing the forum for a while... But it's enough that people visiting purely to advertise thier wares will be unable to do so. Shep Ps. BurritoBass - you have posted 3,128 times so no worries about being under the 50 post requirement
7. If you could control multiple parameters on Foogers with one cable imagine what you could do with the MP-201! I have 3 Foogers, 2 of which hooked up to the 4 channels of the MP-201. Imagine being able to run one pedal off each channel and effect all parameters of that pedal... Your never need another effect pedal! Shep
8. Bought my USB Fast-Track. Easy transaction and constant communication. Cheers bud. Shep
9. Certainly nothing I've experienced or had any reports of... I'll check with the powers that be and make sure there hasn't been anything happening in the background! Shep
10. Sooooo many threads on this if you flick back over the pages. My vote goes to 3Leaf Groove Regulator... And now the GR2 is out I'd go for that (same pedal with blend)... Bonus is Bass Direct now stock it. I imported mine from the US and don't regret it one bit. Fat, deep and funky. Shep

12. Theres plenty of advice around... Best really is to try every combo and see which sounds best for you. The 'industry standard' is... Compression - High gain pedals - lower gain pedals - wah/envelope - chorus/flanger/Trem - delay But, some pedals sound better before or after others. There is no right or wrong so try all the combinations until you settle on one that suits you Shep
13. Hi, What power does this require (is it a special input the has to use the provided cable), and which control does the expression input change? Shep
14. Really glad this thread is still going. Sooooo much cool stuff.
15. Interesting read as always Dan (sorry you miss the BMS... I'm taking care of her).

17. 18. Spec was settled on May 15th. Bass was complete Nov 7th… I'd say that was pretty good for any custom build! Shep
19. Another easy transaction. Great Basschatter Cheers bud Shep
20. That's prob the only Jazz styled bass other than the GB Spitfire that I've ever loved. Beautiful finish!
21. Nerve (Jojo Mayer's Nerve, not the punk band) - John Davis on bass Miloopa (the album Unicode) - Bond on bass Jamiroquai - Stu Zenders bass work Roni Size - many recordings are programmer bass, but his band do it live (bassist with blonde dreads, not sure of his name) and it sounds just like the album work. That's dubstep, ambient, electronica, pop and funk & hip hop genres covered with loads of synth bass... Get listening! Check out the demo recordings from my 'band' (link in my sig)... Everything that's not a drum beat there is played on bass.
22. Cheers bud. The finished article is a work of art. Robbie's a very talented builder with a fantastic eye for detail. Shep
23. Jon Stockman uses a Tech 21 XXL but as part of a rather intricate set up to create his monster dirty sound. The XXL is certainly a strong flavour in the sound. But of you saw his pedal set up - - you'd see he runs multiple pedals at once, as well as a heavily driven ampeg sound to get it. Id describe the XXL as a very aggressive overdrive rather than a distortion as it's often called. I've owned and sold 2, but am sure I'll go back to it again one day.
