They are awesome. Fantomas VS The Melvins is one of my fav' albums!

The Moog EP2 is a safe bet as it was obviously designed for control voltage pedals as opposed to 'regular' expression. Personally I really like the EP2 anyway and use one for a non-Moog pedal as well. My personal suggestion is you buy a Moog MP-201 as it's the best bit of gear I own... But I fear it may be a tad more expensive that you'd like to spend for an expression pedal alone.

Ha. Sounds about right. This particular one is in the hands of Me Bassman on this very forum now. If the Dolphin one went down the pan, I do believe Keith was looking to move it on... Complete with the upgrades knobs I put on it Shep
There was a rather cool looking Surine advertised on here a few years ago. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...8&hl=surine
Ooooooo that is nice... Not as nice as this GB though
Just a question: If you're using the kill switch so that it doesn't drain batteries when you're not playing, wouldn't an active/passive switch have the same effect? If you're worried about it getting knocked and making a noise, roll down the volume (assuming you usually have it at max) or mute your amp/pull out the jack a little for the same effect.
I was just thinking the same thing… ?

Played the first gig last night with the EA Micro 550 & Wizzy... Wow! Huge sound. Very tight and focused, cut through the mix fantastically... And the rig went on my back, on the bus to the gig!! Shep

Thanks bud. They are utterly stunning. One of best fretless basses I've played, with a very even tone. They are a little odd though and so many people would pass them up. maybe this should be in the bass rather than EUB section... After all it's a 34" scale fretless, but cam be played upright style...

FS: Roscoe LG 3000 Signature - SOLD
pantherairsoft replied to Bass Culture's topic in Basses For Sale
Buy it then - ha ha! If it doesn't go at this price there's no hope for the market right now! Actually, I'm toying with the idea of putting an ACG EQ02 in it if it doesn't find a suitable home soonish and postponing the ACG custom build for a while. I've been really impressed with the same preamp in my Zoot. Pip pip!
I have number of items up or sale and depending on what/if they sell I will very well co sided buying it. I'd consider the ACG Pre a downgrade though as personally I love the Roscoe Bart sound and am not a fan of the ACG tone (having tried 3 or 4 basses - they have a lovely feel though). -

Hmmmm... There was a chap in Nottingham called Geoff Putnar I believe that had one very similar. I bought my old EBS Fafner off him when he was clearing loads of gear a couple of years back... I wonder if he was the previous owner. Lovely basses that sound Stunning! Welcome to Basschat by the way. Drop a post in the introductions forum if you get chance Shep -

For me it would be the last one - In a line with the volume up level with the bridge pickup location… I find it much easier to locate quickly if it's based there. LED and Active/Passive switch should be tucked away as changing quick is prob not needed, maybe down next to the bridge. Depends what capacity you plan on using the kill switch in to decide on location...
