  2. It's a stonker of a bass but just not what I need. Sad really but hope it finds a good home soon. Cheers
  3. Do you fancy trading for a Blade B-15. I looking to but an Ibanez GWB 35 desperately. Here is the link to the Blade - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/190174-blade-b-15-in-sunburst-for-sale-price-drop-and-a-set-of-new-strings/ No worries if you don't but I really want a GWB. Looking at one at Bass Direct at the moment too - lovely basses
  4. Nice one matey and price drop - £325.00 excluding delivery but with a new set of Rotosound strings. What do you think

  7. Back to the top. Boy this thread moves quickly
  8. Hi, I recently bought a Blade B-15 bass from Paul_5 who was an absolute to deal with by the way. I bought it as a back up to my main live bass but after being on tour for the past 3 weeks, I have realised that the Lull bass is everything I need. I took the Blade on the European leg but it never came out of the flight case and on the UK leg of the tour, I left the Blade at home and just took the Lull bass out. The Blade is in good condition but does have a few minor dinks here and there but nothing major. Also, Paul_5 changed the original electronics for an East Pre. He did offer me that when I bought the bass but I didn't want it so asked for the original electronics to be put back in. This was done but minus the "mid" boost which he no longer had. The original pickups are huge and are now configured so that there is an independent volume control for each pickup and then a tone control. It works really well and this bass really does cover everything. I do like it but I'm a Precision guy and want to save for another Lull. I took the bass to my bass tech who cleaned it from top to bottom, straightened the neck, lowered the action and put a fresh set of strings on it. It plays like a dream. I am now looking for £325.00 ex delivery and a new set of strings. I have one picture which I have added here but will add more later. I am based in Cardiff if anyone wants to collect and I am prepared to travel in a 50 mile radius of Cardiff if someone wants me to meet them. Any questions, just drop me a line and I will do all I can to help. Finally, I am not looking for trades at this point unless it was for a Bongo 5. Thanks and speak soon. Take care. Cheers, Matt PS I have added more detailed pictures plus, the weight of this bass is 4kg. Hope that helps. 9. Hi Westie9, the case comes in at 10kg. Hope that helps
  10. I will find out for you as I have no idea Obviously, it is quite heavy because it needs to be to protect the cargo, but I'll get the exact weight for you later today
  11. Yeah I looking at pics and especially if I'm interested in buying something so thanks for the sarcasm. I wanted to see how pink it was but maybe just a little too pink for me - thanks anyway and good luck selling a very nice guitar
  12. Of course, this doesn't just have to be for a Dingwall bass. The insert can be replaced and then cut to your bass. This thing is wonderfully built. Anyone want to make me an offer if £100 is too rich?
  13. Hi guys, I'm selling a full flight case made by Flight Case Warehouse for any Dingwall AB model bass. Not a lot to say about it really apart from it's in perfect condition and bomb proof. I have attached some photos below. I am only looking for £100.00 plus delivery costs (it cost me £165) or it can be collected directly from me here in Cardiff. I am also up for a potential trade for a great quality SKB case for a 35" scale length P type bass. Take care. Cheers, Matt
  14. My goodness, please, someone buy this now and stop me getting it. It's bloody gorgeous
  15. Thank you. They really are lovely
  16. AB16 gone and the other is being sold on a commission basis. Thanks for reading.
  17. Hi, is this bass still available?
  18. Hey Gazz, thanks so much. Just got your message and will reply tomorrow if OK. Really appreciate you taking the time to mail and give me the full run down of these basses, means a lot. I promise to mail you back in the morning. Take care and definitely interested in the 615 Cheers, Matt
  19. Hi, very interested in the 615. Do you have better pictures please? The ones you have posted are very small. Also, can you tell me the difference between the 615, 605 and the 5GS please? I'm looking for a 5 string for a Deep Purple type project and wondered which one might be the more suitable. I don't need my 6'ers for this project and the only Yamaha stuff I have owned has been 90's TRB6p basses. Thanks in advance and sorry for the many questions. Take care. Cheers, Matt
