1. I selling a set of pickups that were on my Fender Strat. The pickups are - Rio Grande Texas BBQ Zebra Humbucker - Bridge Position Rio Grande Vintage Tall Boy Single Coil - Middle Position Seymour Duncan Little 59 Stacked Humbucker - Neck Position They are all mounted on a WD Black scratch plate and all wired. You would just need to pop these in your Strat and connect to the input jack and you will be ready to go. These pickups offer a whole new tonal aspect to your Strat but since I bought A Gibson Les Paul, I decided to put the original Strat pickup and scratch plate back on my guitar for the more traditional sound which balances nicely against my Les Paul. I originally put them on my Strat to give me wider range of sounds as it was my only guitar. Honestly, they sound incredible. Here are what the relevant sites say - Rio Grande Texas BBQ Humbucker Zebra - A classic 50's style Humbucking, but alot more horsepower under the hood! Our most popular humbucking to date....Not a distortion pickup, just more muscle. Bear down on the meat and easy on the potato salad! Recommended bridge position. Braided 2-Conductor cable. Rio Grande Vintage Tall Boy - Our most popular pickup to date, this "non stag" model offers enhanced replication of the good ol' tone casters. Not all Strats® have "that" sound. From over 30 years of vintage guitar collecting, dealing, and repairs, comes the knowledge of which have the tone and why. Lots of other pickup companies know how to make a hot pickup, not many know tone from Diddley! Seymour Duncan Little '59 - The little '59 is designed to give the warm, smooth tone of an old 1959 Patent Applied For humbucker in a single coil size. This pickup has an even dynamic response with adjustable pole pieces that allow you to fine tune your string balance and dial in just the right amount of punch. The little '59 is basically the single coil version of the SH-1 59 model allowing you to have the same tone without major bodywork to your guitar. The scratch plate is made by WD and is currently wired with just a volume and tone. This can of course be changed very easily. Anyway, these pickups combined total around the £250.00 and the scratch plate at around £20.00. I am looking for just £100.00 including delivery within the UK. If you want a change with minimal fuss and expense, then this is the perfect opportunity to do it. Drop me a line and we can take it from there. No trades please. Take care and thanks for reading. Cheers, Matt
2. As the title suggests, I am selling my mint condition, 4 month old EBS UniChorus Black Label True Bypass pedal. It has all the documentation including the registration form and box. It has been used once in rehearsals but I soon realised that chorus is just not for me. Since then, it has sat in its box in my studio. I was going to keep it as a "just in case" but I'm not really ever going to use it live. These retail for between £150.00 & £175.00 so, for anyone that wants a "brand new" chorus pedal for only £80.00 inc shipping within the UK, drop me a line and we'll sort something out. No trades either I'm afraid. Thanks for reading and hopefully speak to someone soon. Take care. Cheers, Matt
3. Fantastic news and thank heavens for that, I was getting an itchy wallet
4. Someone please buy this bass! Saturday Bump to get it out of my sight and out of my mind
5.
Price drop to £1100.00 Delivered in the UK Mainly because I haven't got my arse in gear to sort out a commission sale.
Can't believe this hasn't sold If I had the spare cash, I would buy this back. Have a bump on me and good luck.
6. You're making me want it back as well. This was initially mine and I sold it to Ben. Such a pity that it's not settling in for anyone, including me. A beautiful bass and good luck with the sale. I hope it finds a permanent home soon and doesn't appear here again or I might just have to have it back
7. I yearned for a Bongo 6 when I first saw them but was going through a "do I want a 5 or 6 string" and decided to buy a Bongo Stealth 5. It lasted just a couple of days due to not being able to obtain a sound that I thought it might be able to produce. I sold it immediately. About a year later I had real GAS for a Bongo 6 again and therefore when the opportunity arose, bought one thinking that my past experience with the 5 was just a one off. Sadly, I was mistaken. I have to be honest, it played so much better than the 5 and felt far more comfortable but I still had the problem of getting the sound I was looking for. It just sounded flat and lifeless which shocked me as I always expected MM basses to sound huge. This was an HH version and everything I tried failed. I tried it through friends amps, different studio set ups and still couldn't get what I was aiming for. I still can't explain it and after 2 months of solidly attempting to find "the" sound, still nothing. Reluctantly, as I still loved loved the feel and the looks, I sold it. Everytime I see one I want it, but I know that I wouldn't buy one again. I'm not saying that everyone will have this problem but for my band / sound, it just didn't fulfil it's potential. A real pity but still a gorgeous bass to play.
8. Man, I can't believe it is back here as I know how much you wanted this, so sorry mate but if it has to go, to has to go. I was talking to a mate about this bass a couple of weeks ago because it is the bass I used for our High Voltage performance last year and he wanted to know what had happened to it. Anyway for anyone reading this, Phil is a top bloke and a real pleasure to deal with plus the bass is bloody gorgeous. Good luck with the sale matey
9. Good luck matey and if I had the cash, I would buy it back for sure. Take care. Cheers, Matt
10. I believe this was mine originally. A beautiful bass and wish I still had it for my collection. I bought it new in 2010 & was waiting quite a while for it. Quite gutted it had to go so soon. Lovely to play and a superb feel. Good luck with the sale and have a Beautiful Bongo Bump on me
11. Well, where do I start....... I bought this last week because we have slimmed down to a 5 piece band and heading back out to tour so I thought, that an overdrive pedal would be needed for certain sections of certain songs to add a little bit of extra balls when our guitarist is soloing to make up for the other guitar not being there. Wrong! I have found out that less is definitely more in this band and that the bass actually breathes a lot more and fills out the sound regardless. Therefore, I am now selling a week old EBS Multidrive pedal bought from Bass Direct that has been out of the box once and then put back in. I realise this is now actually second hand but, in reality it is in brand new out of the shop condition. I am looking for £100.00 for this and I will pay the postage. How does that sound? I will get pictures up tomorrow evening if that is OK? Would also PX for a good condition Sansamp BDDI or an MXR M80+. Thanks for reading and take care. Cheers, Matt

14.
I bought Matt's Sansamp Deluxe Bass Driver. The deal was done in a matter of minutes yesterday and the beast arrived this morning!!! He was even willing to post the until before payment was confirmed (payment did arrive in time, but he was very trusting!!) Great guy, pedal in mint condition and dead easy deal, my only complaint is that it took ages to get into the layer upon layer of packaging I have no hesitation in recommending Matt to deal with, he is a top chap indeed!!!
Ha ha ha ha, nice one mate
