1. I bought these pickups 2 weeks ago and realised as soon as they arrived they were not going to align with the strings. The hole on my MTD CRB5 is not a standard "Precision" placement so the pickups would be slightly off centre with the strings. I have a set of these on my Mike Lull PJ5 and they are simply the best passive pickups I have EVER heard. Gutted I can't use them, it would've have been nice lol Anyway, these are fully boxed as you can see, never been placed in a bass. These sell for £120.00 and I'll let them go for £100.00 inc P&P within the UK. The best 5 string, P bass, passive pickups in my honest opinion. Thanks for reading and take care. Cheers, Matt PS I am also selling 5 MTD tuners and 19mm bridge for a mere £40.00. Here is the link - http://basschat.co.u...release-bridge/
2. I bought an MTD CRB5 bass and upgraded the bridge and tuners. Nothing wrong with the stock ones that arrived with the bass at all, I just prefer the Hipshot stuff I'm not looking for much for these parts. The tuners are 4 on top and 1 below. They are in perfect condition. The bridge is from the same bass and is designed for 19mm string spacing. I can sell as a complete package or separate if needed. If you do want to buy separately, I'll let the bridge go for £20 and the tuners for £20. All 3 options include P&P within the UK. Thanks for reading. Cheers, Matt
3. Hi, what are the internal dimensions please? Also, can I see a better picture of the internal part of this case. I have a Mike Lull PJ5 and want to see if my bass will fit in your case. Is yours designed specifically for a Jazz bass? Thanks in advance.
4.
That's a real beauty Homer - a Clover I believe? Unfortunately, I need a lightweight rig at this point in time, not more basses.. In fact, I've just bought BassBunny's Blade B15 as a replacement for the RBV when it finally goes! So, I must ever so politely decline, good Sir!
That Blade is a lovely bass. I had that initially and wonderful sound and feel. I've been after a Roscoe for a long time, just wish I had the spare dosh for this. A real beauty. Good luck with the sale, someone is going to be very happy with this and hope you're enjoying the Blade
5. DanTheVan - I have indeed Andydye - Thanks for that
6. Can any mods help me please? I have a bass for sale in the Market Place and I put a note up saying the bass is on hold as I might have sold it via Ebay. That is now confirmed and payment made but I want to update my post to let people know that is definitely sold but, the topic is locked and I can't edit. Any help on this please? As I paid to put the add up online, I should at least be able to edit my own posts. Help would be appreciated please.
7. Potentially sold via Ebay but you know Ebay. Waiting for payment as we speak so I'll keep you posted.
8. A little bumpage needed I think
9. I am selling my fretless Ibanez GWB35 bass. I've had it for a few months but just don't use it. I've had it professionally set up and put a brand new set of flatwound Picato strings on. It plays beautifully and is in A1 condition. I will be using the money to fund an upgrade to my MTD CRB5 so no trades please, the money is needed for the modifications. It comes with a great padded gig bag too. I can deliver but at the buyers cost or, I am prepared to travel within a 50 mile radius of Cardiff to meet and deliver. You are also welcome to come and try this bass out and have a cup of tea at the same time. I don't think there is anything else. These basses are incredible in every way and such amazing value for money - a true pro fretless bass. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line at anytime. Take care. Cheers, Matt
10. There are a couple of GWB basses on here and I'm afraid they are cheaper than mine so I'm withdrawing this bass from sale and will start using it properly. Thanks for reading
11. Hi, and sorry for the delayed reply. I did own 2 6 string Dingwall basses. They were gorgeous but I wanted a complete change so got rid of them. Maybe one day, I'll get another one but loving my Lull bass so much

18. I bought this Ibanez GWB35 from Bass Direct in October for £400. I've had it set up beautifully with a brand new set of Picato flat wounds (total setup with strings £80) and it sounds amazing but, as I'm never going to be taking a fretless bass out live, I only need a fretless for my studio. I have 5 string basses already so maybe I just need a 4 string Precision style fretless. Thanks for reading
19. I should read more carefully, sorry Either way, a gorgeous bass. Best of luck and treat this as a free bump. Take care.
20. Oh man, I have a PJ5 and can't put it down. If I had the cash, this would be mine. Good luck with the sale and sorry it's not for you. What a dream machine.
21. Thanks for reading and interacting guys but this bass is now SOLD!!!
22. It's a beauty and it will be great company for your fretless
