A '66 P Bas? Wow! That must have been really tough to let go? The decision to move this on was finally made yesterday but it felt the right thing to do. I just know that this is now going to sit there and I just can't allow that to happen. For now, I have all the basses I need and don't need this wasting away when someone could be really enjoying this beauty. OK, I know I've been doing a lot of ummming and arrgghhing but this is it, I'm definitely selling this bass. As stated in an earlier post, I bought this in September 2012 from Mark at Bass Direct. It is in brand new, shop condition even though it has been gigged and rehearsed - I am über careful with my gear. The truth is, the Lull is just going to sit there doing nothing so I would rather someone played it. I have attached the pictures again and the tech spec from Mike Lull and Bass Direct. It really is a wonderful bass and comes with the Protec gig bag / case plus all the documentation. It is currently strung with D'Addario strings and I will throw in another set as well. If you want to know anything else, just drop me a line. I won't be taking this off sale again so, grab a beautiful US custom hand made bass today and all for £1700. I've come to my senses at last, this is definitely not for sale and therefore, now withdrawn. This bass is one of the most amazing instruments I have ever played. Mike Lull has created a dream bass and I just cannot let it go. Thanks for all the comments - you are right, I'm just going to play it and enjoy it

I would love to own one of these just because. I have an MIJ customised with all the same hardware but I still want a "real" one. Good luck with the sale and hope it goes soon - it's taunting me

I know bud and, that is exactly how I feel. That's not what a bass is for. My P bass I look after really well but as it came to me dinged up, I can just enjoy it. A shame but, at least I can say I've owned one

I did and it scared the hell out of me. That's not good. I have a Fender P 5 string that is dinged up, which is just perfect to take on the road without worrying lol

Indeed, that's what I meant. They actually had 1000k pots in and I had them changed to better quality 500k pots. It was way too bright, for me and lost some of that P-Bass'ness lol Sounds so much better now IMHO

Thank you for your post. It really is light and easy to play. I've never gigged it but have used it in a full 4 hour rehearsal and no issues on the back or shoulder or neck - perfectly balanced. This is a 34" scale and the "B" is still awesome sounding

They are seriously ace but do need to be upgraded IMHO. The pots were a bit too hot and the hardware average but, the construction is ace and the stability wonderful. Once upgraded, this is a great sounding, very playable, light weight, modern take on a classic.

Hey, that's life but a lovely choice with the Lakland purchase. Great basses. Have many happy years playing it and cheers
