1. Oak is as good as any other wood for a homegrown project.... just remember the hardware issue, otherwise you´ll have dark staining around any iron hardware... aluminium, brass, stainless steel is fine.
2. people who play the US modells will obviously say they´re better... if I spent that kinda money I´d say the same.... I had both in my hands and noticed to diff in playability. The hardware on the US more expensive, so are pickups, but sound and playability are pretty muchg the same.... imho. 7ender has the same policy.... the CIJ are def more consistent in quality.
3. definately the Accugroove Bill Dickens (?).

9. You know it... if it doesn´t have a 7ucker on the plate, it doesn´t sell decently...sad.
10. They´re a some great instruments... sadly with a terrible resale value. Pity. Nice bass.
11. IwantitIwantitIwantit... but I live in Germany.
12. British humour, I suppose... Wayne, go to the warwick forum and complain there, that way thousands will read it, at least. Customer care is poor all along.
13. Stunning... too bad I suck at playing fretless without lines to help me along !!
14.
Hmmm ivory fretboard eh... is that legal?
course I mean ebony....hihi
15. both rosewood fretboards ?? I´ve got one with an ivory fretboard.. and I know that´s a tuff one to defret.
16. Anyone ever have one of their basses defretted... I mean a good job, no home-made crap.
17. Thanx a lot jsixties... now I have to change my pants..
18. Nothing like the real deal.... played Sados and liked them, but the way the artificially produce the sound thru their way to powerful active electronics is no big deal. Anyone with a good preamp can produce that sound. Passive though, they sound absolutely average... nothing like the real deal...
19. Thx for all the suggestions.. techie checked it, everything is rocksolid. There is some leftover laquer of sorts on the polepieces, so I refinished them with some acylic laquer. The humming got a little quieter... it´s just part of a jazz bass, I guess. Changed the playing technique a bit and all is well. That awesome sound is all worth it.
