  1. Nice array of cabs behind Macca!
  2. Enjoyed Skunk Anansie, Skin looks like she hasn’t aged at all! Cass Lewis’ bass rig is enormous
  3. Anyone watched TLC’s set? Is that Jamareo Artis on bass? Pretty sure the guitarist is the guy that played the live lounge with Rag n Bone man, he gets a killer tone from that Kemper!
  4. Just watching the crowded house set, I really like Nick Seymours playing and there’s something very satisfying about seeing a DB751 and 8x10 on stage
  5. That does sound really nice.
  6. I agree that pick-up placement is key to his live sound, it just sounds so right for him
  7. I thought you could buy that version, with the MM pickup?
  8. Still seems strange, seeing a RHCP stage set without a couple of GK stacks behind him!
  9. Look up some private parking companies. I did it when I went to a gig at the o2 and got a space in a secure office building car park, all weekend for £25. They basically use the car parks of offices etc that don’t normally get used on weekends.
  10. It works for me, great spot you had!
  11. Did I see right, that Flea is now using SVT’s?
  12. Congrats on the new amp. I lent my Warwick streamer and Barefaced big twin 2 to a friend last weekend, and he used it with a ABM600 and Sansamp para driver. F**k me did it sound good!
  13. our drummer now deals with these type of payment gigs, maybe that’s where the problem lies 😂
  14. And I was centre of the standing area!
  15. I like that venue, I’ve seen Reef and Fatboy Slim there
  16. For you guys doing gigs through Concur, how long is taking to get paid? We’ve been waiting almost a month now
  17. Saw Red Hot Chili Peppers at Old Trafford cricket ground last night. First time I’ve ever been to that particular venue. The guests staying at the Hilton on site had a great view from their balconies. Was meant to be going with a group of friends, but for various reasons a lot couldn’t make it and it ended up just the wife and myself. Had a great time, band sounded good, would’ve liked Fleas bass a little higher in the mix but I guess I’m biased, and it could’ve been down to where we were standing, as always seems to be the way at outdoor gigs. Caught some of Thundercat set, he seems like a very likeable chap, but I got kind of bored after a while. Have to say, I hope I’ve still got Fleas stage energy at 59yrs old, he’s like a puppy being let off the lead!
  18. I’ve never understood why you see so few of these, yet so many of the bass driver DI. These are far better imho, that mids control is the golden ticket! GLWTS
  19. Just watching it on iPlayer, not sure if it’s my dodgy eyes but Rich Jones looks like he’s got two SVT’s and two Helix rack units in a rack next to his two Ampeg 8x10’s
  20. I still have my very early Evo RC, they look so cool, but are an utter b***rd under stage lights when you’re not yet familiar with the layout!
  21. Completely agree, but sending one to someone with 775k subscribers would be a far better start than the tumbleweed experience while we wait for a Ashdown demo! 😃
  22. Just send one to Andertons and let Lee and Nathan do a demo on it. Their YouTube channel has 775k subscribers!
  23. Completely agree. Look at companies like Darkglass, the day a product is launched there’s videos all over YouTube by the likes of Nate Navarro, Amos Heller, Patrick Hunter. That’s a lot of views of your product in a very short space of time. I really like Ashdown, and their customer service is legendary, but they’re really missing a trick here
  24. Has anyone seen any kind of marketing video of the 750 yet?? I find it really odd that Ashdown have launched a £1500 amp, which shows as being available to buy, yet there’s not one single launch/demo video to accompany it
