    The bass I was interested in has now been reserved so I'm withdrawing this. Up for sale here is my stunning ACG Harlot 6 string bass. This bass was made by ACG in the UK and is in excellent condition with only one or two very minor marks. I'm only putting this up for sale as another bass has piqued my interest! If that other bass sells then I'm keeping this. 🙂 (The last picture is a better representation of the true colour - the other pictures make it look a bit dull! When I get round to deleting a bunch of old BC photos and make some space, I'll add some better pictures!) The bass has a Goncalo Alves top and back with a beautiful grain, the body wood is Butternut and it has black accent veneers between the top, body and back woods. The neck is a 7 piece ebony/maple/black Limba construction and looks stunning. The headstock has a matching Goncalo Alves cap and an ebony heel, it's 34" scale and plays absolutely superbly. It has an ACG active RFB pickup in the neck position and an active SB pickup in the bridge position. The string spacing is 18m and the bridge is 6 individual Hipshot monorail bridge pieces. The tuners are Hipshot Ultralite. The preamp is an ACG EQ01 4K parametric preamp which in combination with the pickups gives you an incredibly wide pallette of tones - you can honestly get everything from a P bass to a jazz, a Musicman to a Rickenbacker and everything inbetween. It really is hugely versatile. Going by the ACG website, to order this bass today would cost circa £3500. Included is a brand new Hiscox hard case to allow for safe shipping. Although I would obviously rather it be collected to make sure it doesn't get damaged in transit. Any questions, please ask!

    I've had 3 Aries Senes basses over the years, they are absolutely spectacular basses with incredible attention to detail. £1350 is a great price for such a bass.

    Same here, all posts are stalling when you click to post. It doesn't automatically refresh and just hangs on that 'save' load screen. If you manually refresh the page, the comment does seem to have been posted, but like others it seems to require a manual nudge at the moment!

    And the Police, and Action Fraud by the sounds of it too... We only know of bassists affected, and only those savvy enough to search around and land here. So you can probably assume for evert 1 person we know that's been scammed, there are at least 10 that we don't know of. This is a big case, the guy has a history of fraud and other convictions too, so I think this would definitely be of interest to something like Rip Off Britain. Who ever among us has the most detail on this case should raise it with them, see if they want to investigate and report on it.

    I concur sir. I've had my GR AT410+ for 3 months or so now and it's superb. The weight is such an advantage and it has lost nothing in sound quality - in fact for me, even taking the weight out of the equation, it is the best cab I've owned by a margin, and I've had MANY. Currently pairing mine with the GR1400 Dual. A 1200w capable rig at 18kg. Every bass player's spines dream!

    On a separate matter to the one I mentioned above, I paid for a case 3 weeks ago that I was told would arrive in 2 weeks, and when I emailed a few days ago (as I'd obviously heard nothing from them) I was told it will be another 4 weeks. The LEAST they could have done is told me. Refund now requested. Best not turn this into another thread about issues with BD - the last one got locked for absolutely no reason at all, I'd guess certain people have certain interests that such threads can be awkward for. 🤔

    No real point emailing them to make sure either... I did this a few weeks back, was told they 100% absolutely had it, so I paid, then I got an email in the morning saying they didn't have it. 😖

    My old bass (and my old pictures!) This is a truly fantastic bass... the build is excellent and the tone is superbly versatile. Whoever ends up with this will have a very special bass. Also, Hugues is a great seller and a trustworthy guy!

    It's been a while since this old girl surfaced! A wonderful bass indeed. I think @nobodysprefect used to own this way back in the day, I remember him speaking very highly of it!

    It's clearly a pìss take... the words in that picture above look very much like someone has crudely added them to the picture to make a sarcastic point.
