1. Hmm does look a bit fishy, this is the redangel's only post despite being registered several months.
2. I don't want to know how much that cost .
3. Hmm, personally i'd go for the Jap/US one unless you're on a budget. And you can get deadspots on any wooden necked bass regardless of it's cost... my old Stingray had one just as much as my Mexi Jazz does.
4. I'll admit I don't miss having it around.
5. Just had my ABM repaired by Pacific Sound & Light on recommendation from here. Free quote and extremely fast service (3 days including a Sunday !). Superb communication from them and no nonsense, anyone in the Birmingham area should go here for any gripes.
6. Bookmarked that article for reading when I have a little more time to soak it up - cheers .
7. Just found this in a random google search... http://www.clivebutton.com/products.htm Interesting.. I thought Mark Gooday was meant to have done it ?!
8. It's all UK made now which probably accounts for the cost. I think they're pretty good, but certainly wouldn't pay that much for them - there's a lot of other things around the same pricemark which I prefer.
9. It seems the staff's job is to attempt to annoy customers and lose business, a very unique and original business model for sure .
10. Oh how I love this forum..
11. Same as mine ! . I like that it's wider than normal looks best to me when the head is as wide as the cab.
12. Got it yet ?!
13. I was at Bass Direct when birdy picked this up - amazing looking instrument and sounded so fantastic. I think it looks a lot pinker in person than the pic shows..
14. There's 2 speaker outputs . Both SpeakOn connectors rather than standard jack, your MAG cabs will have both available. http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.as...n=abm&ID=55
15. I'm definitely voting "if it isn't broke - dont fix it".
16. Wanna swap for a Fender Jazz ?! On a serious note, this is my old bass and it was fantastic, someone buy it please .
17. Welcome to the forum !
18. Anyone would think you like Telebasses or something..
19. MusicLive is on the Sunday too so he can't be in two places at once !
20. Me and ped will be there - you should see us both at the Bass Direct stand .
21. What's with the random popping sounds ?!
22. I remember selling mine for £130 about 4 years ago.. this is silly cheap.
23.
The Epiphones are nice basses, but I was also thinking of a review I saw in BGM of the Fret King Blue Label Esprit. That's not exactly a T-Bird, but it is styled similarly & received a favourable review. 24. Nothing wrong with the Legend - great instrument for the price. Any idea what you're lusting after yet ?
