1. I wouldn't bother - you'll easily overload the speaker. The Perfect 10 combo is 30w remember.
2. Ok got it - cheers yorick .
3. Take a trip into Birmingham - it isn't too far from Warwick. You can definitely play a MAG300-210 at PMT .
4. I'm afraid it isn't ! Please don't ask for details my blood pressure can't cope !
5. Oh wow, I think I just wee'd a little bit. That sunburst one is gorgeous, I love seeing all these new models at the start of every year..
6. *drool* If that was in Blue Matteo i'd be carving the kidney out myself !
7. Hah you got there before me on the correction neilb . And i'd love to go down there - bit of a drive for a cup of tea though !
8. Looks like the Rockbass $$ Corvette is passive.. and that P-Nut looks fantastic.
9. Just had a very kind offer from yorick to review the LG350 he's just got. He's only a mile away from my work so should be fairly soon .
10. No idea for me at the moment. I generally end up trading on a whim and getting something I never expected !
11. Whilst there is some hum at high volume/treble levels - they are single coils designed to be vintage style. I think they have significantly improved the sound of my Jazz and I'm glad I got them. There are hum cancelling varieties available if you so wish.
12.
I really don't understand these OLP comments. OLP are MM designs, so of course they look like MM products. . . . :s
It's this one I see the similarity to, I dislike the all black hardware especially with a black body/headstock.
13. Not a bad idea at all - i'll run it by the other mods and if we have a consensus then i'll get it created .
14. Not had confirmation yet but the person I was speaking to there was previously up for it (a review that is !).
15. I can guarantee you that if I got it in for review and I didn't like it that you'd know about it ! I may be an Ashdown fan boy but I will criticise anything I dislike .
16. Love the Axis - not many basses that shape, but the Albert lee isn't for me. The Stealth Ray I despise - it looks like a cheap OLP !
17. Still trying to get one in for review - watch this space !
18. With the 2 humbuckers and 3 band EQ it should be capable of either really.
19.
This may have come up before, but does anyone know what the "guitar" picture you can select for a user account pic in Windows XP is, or is meant to be?
I'm sure previous consensus was that it's a Tobias Growler.
20. Supply and demand - if they didn't get sales for all their relics they wouldn't make them ! Also they charge so much because there are mugs out there who will buy them at that price, otherwise they'd be cheaper.
21. I'm quite interested in all the positive press these are getting - just don't know if I could cope with only 4 knobs to twiddle !
22.
I really like that. Anyone know where I can buy Stingray scratchplates from?
See here for one for £20: http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/product/STINGRAY_...WHITE_STGB-5304
23. A location will help people decide if they can pick it up since postage is probably quite pricey on this .
24. My old one..
25. Eastcoast are the same as Stagg - so if there's a price difference more fool them ! My personal opinion is that the Stagg seems to have more features to it. The Dean to me looks like a cheap bass with the sides cut off, has a bridge that looks like it's from an electric bass and generally just looks cheaper. I have played a Stagg and it was pretty good - action wasn't quite right but I cold have sorted that out.
