1. Just picked up an H2 and recorded a rehearsal and gig with it. It's brilliant. Very punchy, and it records front and back, so it's perfect for putting in the middle of the band.
 2. 'Sponsored by Jazz Cruises - Producer of 'The Smooth Jazz Cruise'' I'll pass too....
 3. A wedding at The Baltic Exchange on Newcastle Quayside. Just got home from the soundcheck - we're not on until 11, so I don't have to go back until 10:30pm. Should be fun. Here's a pic of the room.
 4.
I think it is safe to say that Rush have assumed control....at £70 a ticket!
My pals & I have managed to resist the temptation to buy a ticket. We're going to feel crap on Saturday night when they're at The Newcastle Arena, but... crap happens.
 5.
Nice bunch of people here, lol Ronz
Yeah, we are. You should try it sometime...
 6.
steady on whoever put this site together is obviously lacking correct information, but clearly must have a passion for the fret less bass
As has been mentioned previously, it's just a gateway page. Someone hoping to make money from referral ads on the page, or even to get an offer for the domain name.
 7. Excellent! What a tool. Let's hope he doesn't sell it to another unsuspecting soul...
 8.
Are there any nice pics/video reviews of this amp?
There's a couple of bits on YouTube, but there's not as much as there should be.
 9.
Getting hacked off with the sullying Aberdeen has received in recent times because of ebay scammers inexplicably claiming to be located here when they aren't, I PM'd the seller via our local music forum to offer any assistance toward a resolution and also gave him a link to this thread *snip*
So the seller is reading this thread? OK then... Mr. Waaaaa.... I've known Warwickhunt for years and years and years, along with any number of North-East-based Basschatters, and I guarantee EVERYTHING that he's telling you is 100% true. Put some effort in, man. Ask around your neighbours. One of of them has your bass.
 10.
If for one moment we forget that we are chatting via the internet, and instead imagine this exact situation recreated in real life, like if we were all invited to this "big" party, don't you think that a total stranger would think twice before asking someone if they have ocd at the risk of offending the bloke and be rewarded back with a bunch of 5's, or worse?
I don't think you understand Basschat.
 11.
There's a glorious irony in you typing this out twice.
12. 'Welcome to overreaction central!'
 13. FFS. Hope it's sorted... keep us updated. R. Sole.
 14.
Is the dude at 0:59 just noodling around practising for the next song then?
Live version, innit. Incidentally, this is another song which when covered - for some reason - is frequently played far too fast, losing its soul in the process...
 15.
Hopefully it'll be loud enough ??
You'll have no problems there...
 16. Flippin' heck. There's a deserved negative feedback if ever there was one...
 17. Mine is noisy in the music room in my house, but all amps are. I'e never noticed a hum at gigs.
 18.
She is no Kate Bush, Bjork or Tori Amos but I can't knock her at all. Better than most of the tripe out at the moment.
But that's just it... she's become one of our most successful singers, merely because she's better than most of the tripe out there at the moment. To be fair, I didn't know much about her until I watched Later and a few clips online (yes, I live under a rock). I quite like her in that she's not a typical whiny diva, but still, her pitching is flaky. It's a shame we celebrate mediocrity, just because they're on the telly and radio.
 19. I'l admit that this thread has me completely baffled...
 20.
PM wateroftyne, I seem to recall he has done gigs with a drummer and a Promethean
Hello! Never gigged it with a drummer, just perc.. I get the feeling it would be fine at a quiet gig with a controlled drummer.
 21.
Flats all round.
Make your mind up!
 22.
Thanks for the replies, Gents. I`m going to be fitting some Nordy SVs from Howard
I'm sure they'll be lovely. I've been using Fralin split-coils for a while now, which are a similar idea, and they sound great.
 23.
i guess you'd not be interested in one of my woven bacon straps then?
Oohh... I'll have one too. Brown sauce, please.
 24. We occasionally have something on Tyneside. Maybe it's time...
 25. Flat, flat, flat. Although you will feel like a leper at bass bashes, when you're surrounded by people solo'ing on zingy rounds....
