1. very interesting. I'm not sure having 'Directdeal' on the headstock is great from a marketing POV, though..
2. As an aside, I'm going to form a Prog Metal band and name them after the title of this thread. It was my idea first.
3. There's a bass on the Crafter site that looks a bit like it, IIRC.
4. He's a Crafter endorsee, I think.
5. FWIW, I had the RH450, and bought the Promethean as a backup. I sold the TC....! To my ears, it was punchier and more natural sounding than the TC.
6.
Amp arrived today right in time for tomorrow's gig HURRAH!! Will have to go back to Thomann as one corner of the cabinet is damaged, BUGGER!!!
Oh, fer cryin' out loud.... Packaging fail, or....?

9.
That's a lot of trouble to got to for such a sh*te bass sound.
I was trying to be polite.
10. Here's a bit more info in his live tone. I don't like the tone much, personally....
11. Hey Bill! Welcome....
12. These are a great, well-respected band up in the here in the North East, and it would be a great gig for anyone. I'd fancy a go myself but unfortunately most of the gigs are just too far over on the wrong side of the river for me... Good luck in the hunt!
13. They're sorted now. Not me, unfortunately... I couldn't get an EUB sorted in time.
14. No-one's bought this yet? Unbelievable....
15. Cheers all Circumstances have changed - this one's staying with me. Thanks for all your PM's and EUB advice.
16. One bump, and I'll hoy the towel in...
17.
You Tease!!
Sorry Updated to include an NS Design EUB in a trade..
18. It's flying along for me... unless I try and view a BC-hosted attachment. They're taking forever to pop up.
19.
Didn't see that coming!
Me neither..! I've missed out on a couple of gigs recently 'cos I don't play DB, so... needs must.
20. Hi all I always said this bass would stay with me forever - I've had it for years and I love it. It'll probably not go anywhere, but you never know. One of the first - Feb '71... Rare Raven PBR-1 Active preamp (no mods required - it just dropped in). It currently has a lovely replacement Allparts unlined ebony neck with correct decal, as I really don't want to wear out the beautiful rosewood of the original. Of course the original factory fretless neck would be supplied along with the bass. I'll post photos of it with the original neck when I dig them out. I am ONLY interested in letting this go as part of a trade for a 4-string Eminence or NS Design EUB. That's it - nothing else will be entertained.
21.
Not selling, but I've got Clarky's removeable neck Eminence, both Yamaha SLB100 & 200 + acoustic double basse if you fancy a couple of hours hands on in Harrogate.
Might do that sometime... thanks, Mr. B! How are you getting on with the Eminence? Enjoying it?
22. A bit OT, but.. has anyone tried deep-fat-frying one of these?
23. What price was he asking...?
24. This thread is awesome and it hasn't even started yet.
