The quest to get a P sound from a standard J route is akin to the search for the holy grail, I'm afraid. I get close with a split-coil Fralin in mine, but it still misses that bit of magic that makes a P a P.

I can only think he's tightened the neck bolts too tight, and it's cut off the air supply.... It'll probably drop off by the time the auction ends.

I run a couple of FB band sites. I go for quality over quantity. People are fans because they [i]want[/i] to be. And I only post stuff which is of genuine interest. Post too much crap and you'll just give people update fatigue. If that happens, there's a real chance they'll switch off and miss when you have something [i]really[/i] important to say. That's why I never got it when people on here (and other forums) post things like 'I've got a mate who has opened a shop - can everyone like him please?' Uh... why?

Ah.. bless you, Si. You've hit that age. Give the coffee-table basses and chatting up twenty-somethings in nightclubs a miss, and restrict yourself to buying a few Hawaiian shirts and a 2-seater sports car. You'll be fine.
