    Marillion were a band I really tried hard to get into back in the day (all my pals were well into them around the time of Brave) but... every time the drummer plays a fill it sounds like he's playing a different song. It totally ruins it for me.

    Hello! Yip... I've had a torrid time trying to choose between this and the Walkabout. I've been tearing my hair out (as any of my Facebook BC pals will attest - I've had one for sale, then the other, then changed my mind...). The Aggie is far more practical (higher output, mute, post / pre DI), and kicks like a mule, but for the gigs I've got coming up the sound guys are used to my Walkabout and do great things with it. I've realised the tubes in the Walkabout are just more [i]me[/i]. It's been a pleasure A/B-ing them for the last six weeks or so, mind.

    Apart from the recent downtime due to implementation of the charging system, and CloudFlare's current blip, BC is generally pretty stable (apart from the clientele). You know what they say about crap - sometimes it happens. And it's happening now. But soon it won't be. So stop your moaning, moaners!

Placement is important, as is setting the gain (usually LO on my H2), but it copes very well at high volumes.

    Personally, I don't mind tasteful relic'ing, but it looks wrong on basses that can't be old enough to warrant it (Sandbergs, for example).

    Pino's the man, like. He's a joy to listen to. Not so fussed on the 80s fretless stuff - it gives me nightmares based around white socks, flecccy trousers, slip-on shoes and pushed-up jacket sleeves. P with flats... yum.
