Help Me

Play an 'Ibanez atk700 - adtive bass' through a 'peavy tnt 115' Looking for a fuzz/overdrive pedal that will give the songs an added bite but not lose its bottom end. Would a blackstar Ht-dual or overdrive be suitable at all for active bass use? http://www.myspace.com/commonbredtrigger Also for playing live should I use a compressor/limiter or anything else? Thanks for any reply to my beginners thread
9. what would courier be like? wanting to upgrade from a peavey tnt 115
10.
I'm confused. Either you need something for "practice rooms and small bars" or you need a Hartke HA 3500. The two are mutually exclusive. Try playing through an HA3500 in any small bar with the volume set above '2' and they'll pull your plug. I was playing through one at a large and very loud London jam session yesterday and got told to turn it down when I hit '4'. And why would you want to lug such a heavy piece of kit around? You'd be much better off with something like a Warwick Take 12 (80W through a 12"), or even an old 1970's WEM Dominator (15W but those are valve watts which - as everyone knows - are far more powerful than those weedy S/S watts).
I dont know why I would want to lug around a heavy piece of kit, I also didnt know they were heavy because I dont have a single clue about bass amplification. I will look into the WEM Dominators but im guessing ebay or the classifieds on here are the best bets for finding one?

13. Play in this band, half step down tuning with an ibanez atk 700 www.myspace.com/commonbredtrigger I dont have much of a budget and was told hartke ha 3500s are decent Dont care if its head and cab or combo just something not too pricey - £400 is possible limit limit (unless someone wants to buy my washburn pi70 guitar ) Im able to get one of those hartke ha's for about £270 brand new. Any advice is welcome and I dont have much time free to try out amps. Thank you for any suggestions put forth
14. know anyone who wants to buy a washburn pilsen idol pi70 guitar, if so then thats the only chance I have of buying this amp
15. Just got one of these and since tuning down to half step (d#) ive noticed a little more fret buzz and some dead notes. its probably inotation but being a guitarist ive always thought the truss rod was at the top of the neck. On this guitar it seems to be at the bottom of the neck where it meets the body. Is it safe for someone who doesnt have a clue to attempt to make it better or hand it into the nearest music shop?
16. play an ibanez atk 700 thats the bass Band thats the band I know alot of people will say find your own tone and all that but ive got a gig coming up soon and im just looking for something thats a decent amp (pub gigs etc). Ill upgrade around september to something I prefer the sound of. Also play half step down if that makes any difference, probably doesnt Any feedbacks welcome, cheers
17. know very little about bass tone and dont have much money to spend on an amp at the moment. Could stretch £400 and its for the practice room and for small pub gigs. Any advice? Cheers (by the way im from northern ireland so if anyone has an amp for sale on here in that price bracket make sure posting over heres ok)
