1. Ok... Due to family commitments and financial requirements I have to release some of my beloved Westone collection to the unwashed... Check here for more details.. Linky pops Many Thanks guys and gals
 2. As it says.... ... Ashdown EVO II 300 head and ABM410T cab For Sale £500 ono. Based in Leicester.
 3. Can anyone recommend a Bass tutor in Leicester. I've been playing for a while but I'm looking to brush up on a few techniques. Thanks in advance.
 4. Saw this on a musician forum in Leicester... Not sure if anyone here is interested though... I'm not selling it but I can contact the vendor... Cheers
 5. Update... I only have the Thunder Jet left... All others have sold... In respect of what is the value of your Thunder 3... A guitar is really only worth what someone is prepared to pay.. but.. FYI.. my Thunder 2s all sold for £350ish each.. A Thunder 3 should fetch a little more but no much...Maybe £400 .... Take good care of it..
 6.
Is that a slightly later one with those pickups and bridge? I had an early f/l Thunder III as well, with a P/J config
Later... yeah.. but not by much. The magnabass pups were a mid '80s change from the P/J config on earlier models...4 years or so. The earlier version had a brass bridge and hardware, the later ones were changed to black... The later one had the pup selector switch moved from the top hor to nearer the control knobs... Other than that it's the same as the 2As... Great bass...
 7. Offers will be considered on that one.. but with so many watchers I'm expecting a bidders war... Make me an offer I can't ignore...
 8.
Don't see one of these in your collection: (NOT for sale ) G.
I did have one for a while but not being a great fretless player I sold it.... Perhaps I should have kept it... ah well... I may rue selling these some day but space dictates....
 9.
Are any of the basses you're selling medium scale?
The Thunder 2 (Pearl) is shorter scale. Don't know if it would be classed as Medium scale. See it here Hope that helps.
 10.
How much for this one?
PM'd you mate.
 11.
I'll take it.
Haha... nice... but I already have one...
 12.
Its a shame to see you split that collection. I remember you drooling over my walnut double P, xlr jobbie when I joined. Nice to see you got your hands on one... and now its for sale Times a change I suppose huh.
I remember drooling too... Yeah.. I got one for myself.. But I realise now that I have too many... 14...!!! 10 of them never get played... Time to move on I suppose. When they all sell I may be in the market for a kick ass gig bass.. or a holiday...
 13.
buying a proper bass then! Actually, that Thuinder III fretless I had for a while was a damn fine bass and as you know, I think your IIA is a very nice bass indeed.
Thanks John... I'm gonna keep 1 of the 2As I have (the black one)... You can see my new 1A later... I'm gonna use that instead of the one I normally use... Oh... and if by "proper bass" you are refering to a Fender then... No... You know my feelings on that subject... Have a good gig on Thursday...
 14.
I agree - lovely collection. Shame to have to split it. Although I s'pose they're not exacty rare
I am a bit reluctant to split the set but.... I really have too many... And you're right... some models are quite common and there are loads on ebay and other places... I do think they are seriously over looked though.... Bearing in mind that the NEWEST of these will be getting on for 20 years old... The build quality really speaks for itself. The earliest model I have dates to '81... That's nearly 30 years old... and it's in near mint condition... I don't see many modern guitars that even have the same specifications let alone build quality... Ah well... *steps off soap box*
