1. Sorry, forgot to amend the post... sold it about a month ago, together with the Peavey power amp and the case.
2. Wow! Luckily it's "pick up only", so I'm out of danger LOL
3. Hello! Bought this amp on a whim but I keep using my old Warwick. The major saving would be weight and size but I'm not taking the amp out anyway, so... Brand new, warranty registered just a few days ago on the Ashdown site. Comes with original box and manual. Never gigged, never got out from the house... only played at home, 1/4 of its volume. I'm after £399. No trades, sorry. http://ashdownmusic..../Retroglide800/
4. Nope. I had the same amp... it only works with 8 and 16ohm loads. But you can rewire the cab to 16ohm if it doesn't have a complete crossover inside.
5. I had one, sold it to a german guy. Awesome, awesome amp. But mine worked with 8 and 16ohm loads, so maybe was a bit different from this one?
6. If shipping overseas wasn't that expensive, I'd get this in a heartbeat!
7. I just sold an Aries 6 and can say it's very well built, and totally worth the price. The neck shape is very nice, the construction is flawless... and mine wasn't as nice as this one.
8. Batman wants his bass back! Just kidding, I'm sure it's very nice to play!
9. Wonderful bass from 1997, great conditions, OHSC. Only visible flaw is a point on the side where the finish started falling and the former owner put some clear lacquer to keep things from getting worse. £1300 plus shipping (€50 by UPS), paypal or bank wire transfer. Have feedbacks and several pictures. The bass works perfectly and plays as it should. The new price is 3 times what I'm asking! No trades, sorry.
10. Aaah ok... 'cause fretless 6ers were really scarce.
11. Really? Never seen another one! But I guess it doesn't have the partial lines this one has as a custom feature.
12. Hello! Up for sale another puppy from my collection... 1988 Thumb bass, a transition model as it's got the tilted tuners with the plastic bushings of the early JDs but already has the 2 pieces bridge of the later models. The wood is in good conditions, most of the wear is on pickups and hardware (the bridge finish faded a bit, as you can see). Plays and sounds absolutely killer. Ships in a gigbag (non-Warwick) and is completely original. Everything works as it should. Set up with low action and fresh 40-95 stainless strings.
13. UPS would charge £50, don't know if there's a cheaper shipping method... will have to check.
14. Up for sale pretty nice WA300 amp. Not used much, a few light scratches on top but very clean front. Works perfectly. No rack ears. £125 plus shipping (I'm in Italy).
15. Another bass from my collection: 1988 Warwick Thumb with the usual specs: tilted tuners, EMGs, thin neck and the sound is absolutely outrageous. The wood is in good shape but you can see wear on pickups and the bridge color faded. Great instrument. £1499 or best offer. Bass is completely stock but for one single screw of the rear electronics cover.
16. Going on with the sale of a few of my basses. This one is the rarest example I ever had, probably, as I never seen another one like this in 21 years of playing the bass. 1989 Thumb 6 fretless, custom ordered from the owner with small lines on the low strings side. Completely original, always used with flats so the fingerboard is absolutely spotless. It's missing the truss rod cover but I can make an Ebony one for free (would cost €35 from Warwick!). I've got this one from the original owner. Clean and ready to play. Comes with original gig bag and even the original wax can. I'm after €2800 or £2450 shipped within Europe or best offer. You'll never find another one like this! Not very interested in trades but maybe a partial trade? Not sure. 17. I know for sure that I have 30 years old Bubinga in house... it's not even from the endangered families but of course no paperwork so it could be a bad bet to use it for a bass that will be shipped to the USA, for example.
18. I ship basses worldwide all the time, for now no problems. But I guess it's also a matter of luck and time. Will Warwick start shipping their basses with CITES documentation? No idea.
19. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millettia_laurentii this is Wengé. The Guilbourtia is Bubinga.
