1. Why not put it on your Christmas wish list for Santa's attention? I'm sure your accountant will be relieved at finding something you really want. It's much better than a pair of socks!
2.
Have a bump for an awesome amp. Buy this amp - you will not regret i!
Great amps. I use one with two GS112s and it holds its own without breaking sweat. Has a drive control that gives a really nice overdriven sound. BLWTS
3. Grab a bargain while it's still here.
4. Hi Keith. Good to hear from you. It's a long story but, basically, the band I was in was doing less and less of the standards so I was getting less and less use from it. A shame because I enjoyed playing it. I'm still in a couple of jazz ensembles but they really call for electric bass. As a result it was sat doing nothing so I thought I'd convert it into cash to put towards a new electric bass. I haven't been able to get up to the Jazz Club for a long while because Tuesdays tend to be rehearsal nights, but I be along as soon as I can and we can have a catch up. Kind regards Pete
5. Hi Dave Reply sent. Cheers Pete
6. Hi okusman I'm based in Guiseley, just west of Leeds. For a sale I'd be prepared to meet up within 100 miles of Leeds for the cost of the fuel. Kind regards, Pete
7. Th
Nice bass there Pete. Once went through a pile (not sure if that's the correct collective noun) of Lakkys at Electromusic (when they used to have good stock) and the absolute best of the bunch was a 3TSB JO4. Wish I had the cash for this one. GLWTS
Thanks, kind sir. Yes, they know how to make a good bass.
8.
These are fantastic basses...I recently traded my Lakland 55-64 for one of these, Dudeput Forest Green Ltd Edition version. It was supposed to be an 'in-transit' bass, and I was planning on selling it on, but since I got it, it's practically became my main 'go to' bass. Love it. GLWTS.

+1 I've got the same Dudepit Ltd Edition and it's a magnificent bass. Bump for a top instrument.
Thanks guys, it was a hard decision to put this up for sale. I'm probably going to regret it but GAS is getting the better of me!
9.
You'll be sorry! I would never sell mine! none of the mfx tuners ever seem quite so accurate or with as good displays.
+1 from me. I bought one not so long ago when my TU2 started acting up. It's a great piece of kit with a rock steady signal and an excellent display.
10. I'm having to thin out my collection and raise some cash to make room for another bass that I'm hoping to buy. So It's been a hard decision to make but I'm putting up for sale this beauty. It's a Skyline JO 4 string in black with a rosewood fingerboard. It's a 2007, made in Korea and finished and prepped in the USA. It has a beautiful dark rosewood board and is in immaculate condition. The original minted white pick guard is included in the sale although a black or tortoise shell one can be supplied if so desired. Comes with a Hiscox hard case. I'm very flexible for arranging a viewing or a test run. Thanks for looking.
11. Bump for a great piece of kit at a great price.
12.
Those same original drivers lack for nothing in the DB range so it is the bias of the cab tune that has most influence here, IMO. The original has great low end. I liked them
I agree. I've both a DB212 and a set up of one GS112 and a GS112NT and they do sound different - exactly as you say.
13. As I've sold my double bass, I've no need for this. I bought it new a couple of years ago and only gigged it a couple of times. It's in absolutely mint condition and comes with manual and original box. Sale only for £100 plus postage. It's also for sale in the Effects section but I thought it may be more appropriate in here? Unfortunately, I can't find a way of moving it across.
14. I've a 1998 MIM Jazz in sunburst. It has a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard and dark stain on the neck. I bought it new and paid £250 for it back then. It's always played beautifully and was worth every penny. I think they are very under-rated.
15. As I've sold my double bass I've no need of this. I bought it new a couple of years ago and it's only done a couple of gigs. As such it's in mint condition. It's as new and comes complete with manual and original box. Asking £100 plus postage.
16.
These 'Dan Smith' Fenders are excellent (had several...) Fender brought him in in '83 to sort out producton quality issues... these are the result.
Agreed. I've one of these in Ivory and it's an excellent bass. Has all the refinements Fender brought in at that time - biflex truss rod, beefed up bridge, four bolt neck joint with micro-tilt, etc. I paid a lot more for mine so this looks like a real bargain. Good luck with the sale.
17. Where are you based? Do you have the original case?
18. Just sold a Lakland Skyline BG signature to Martin. Very friendly, great guy to deal with and very knowledgeable. Excellent communications and does exactly what he says he will do. Highly recommended. Thanks Martin
