Sandberg California PM 4 String ****SOLD****
petergales replied to petergales's topic in Basses For Sale
Hi Peter, I was having the same problem last week and I found that this helped http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 Best of luck and have a bump for a great sounding bass.
Thanks Mr Zed I'll look that link up. -
For sale is a beautiful Sandberg California PM (now known as the VM). These basses are superbly built with every attention to detail and, as a result, play like a dream. There are lots of tonal options available from the Precision and Musicman pick ups. It is in excellent condition apart from some light scuffing on the back due to some over-enthusiastic polishing! It’s difficult to pick this up in a photo as it’s very superficial and is not visible from the front and in no way affects the playability of the instrument. The bass comes with a Sandberg gig bag. Lowest price to Basschatters of £700 before it goes on ebay. Detailed spec as follows: NECK 6 x bolted / canadian hardrock maple with rosewood fingerboard FRETBOARD 22 frets SCALE 34" BODY ash FINISH sunburst HARDWARE Sandberg PICKUP 1 Sandberg splitcoil / 1 Sandberg powerhumbucker PREAMP Sandberg 2-band, active / passive, passive tone control Cash on collection from Leeds but I am prepared to meet up within a 100 mile radius of Leeds for the cost of the diesel. Once again I am having problems with uploading photos so, if you are interested in acquiring this beautiful bass, drop me a PM with your email address and I'll send you some but here's my shot at Photobucket! I've had an SVT2PRO and the GT200 is way better. Much simpler and a far superior tone. Beautiful warm tones. The Matamp is much lighter, too. I found the SVT to be somewhat unreliable but I'm not expecting reliability issues with the Matamp.

Ampeg Portaflex PF350 Head 3 **TRADED** - TA!!
petergales replied to dodgnofski's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
I've got one of these amps. I use it with 2 Aguilar GS112s. Absolutely beautiful tone! Everything from warm to out-and-out punch. I use it for jazz gigs and take the PF350 as a back up for my main amp on rock gigs. Fits in a little Gator mixer bag and weighs nothing. At £165 this is a real bargain. Best of luck with the sale. -
For sale is my Squier Affinity P Bass. I've upgraded the pick ups with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and replaced the pickguard with a lovely tortoiseshell one (much stronger than the standard white one). The neck is the original one and is a Jazz style with a width at the nut of 11/2". There are a couple of dings on the body but nothing that affects the playability of the instrument. Would make an ideal starter bass or a back up. This machine really rocks.[s] £180[/s] £160. For that I'll include a Warwick gig bag. I'd prefer collection but will meet up within 50 miles of Leeds for the cost of the diesel.
